He could just be really friendly. I'm thinking the situation is a bit closer to 'is trying to make you look like an alt account/hacker by transfering tons of items to you to get you frozen'. But that's just me, though you should still brace yourself for that sort of thing.

Hmm...I thought a few people said that they were frozen just for giving someone an item. I'm glad to hear its not an actual rule, because that means that once I get enugh money I can buy my brother that Pawkeet he's wanted.

If something looks too good to be true, chances are it is. If someone ever asks you to give them something, or buy something from their shop in return for something else, do not give it to them. There is no guarantee you will get anything in return. Instead, report them using this form, and we will stop them scamming anybody else.

That's what I found under security. It probably doesn't help at all.

If somebody says something to you, sends you something, or you see something that makes you uncomfortable, don't look around or explore. Get your parents instead - they will know what to do. If this happens on the Neopets site, please let us know using this form and we will take the necessary action.

It depends on how suspicious the transfer is, they look at highly valuable items questionable. If it's something like a codestone I beleive it's harmless.

It is agreed that transfering items is "safer" through auctions or thre trading post is the best way it do though.
