I hope so, having a pet like that would be nice, but since the image is quite old, I really don't think it will. 
Dont bother hoading, it might be years before neo decides to make it a pet, I remember someone posted about it many many months ago when the old PPT was up and nothing intresting happened to that pet since then.

i remeber when that image first went up as well, the price of slugawoos doubled in like 2 hours.
i got one, only to sell it for a loss later, its one of those things that tnt really have to get round to or something, and its been my pet theory that the petpet will not be the slugawoo, but rather the slorg, because of a poll i once saw run on the front page about whether or not the slorg should be made into a pet.
its related to the maraqua plot, which has been running for nigh on 2 years now...

TNT isn't going to do anything with it, its been with the Maraqua plot for ages, which is still going on, I have a list of Krawk island and Maraqua related things lately.

Hmmm...there is a big similarity isn't there? And the did say they would be releasing another restricted pet. I think I'm going to take a chance and buy a couple.

Um, that thing of course has something to do with maraqua, the underwater statue. The statue is featured in the upcoming game so its unlikely that anything will happen until it comes out, which i think is in 2005.
