My screen keeps lagging up, though the music stays the same.

It's a recent thing and I don't know what to do..

If you don't provide at least: version number of WMP, operational system and software you recently installed in your computer, nobody will be able to help you.

There are two geeneral suggestions:

1) Go to Microsoft's site and look for the download of "WMP codecs version X" where X is the version number of you WMP. Install them. It might solve the problem.

2) Switch to a player that doesn't suck and that doesn't allow arbitrary execution of code. An old version of RadLight (3.03 R5.2) is, to me, the best media player out there.

I have WMP 9 and I'm using DivX codec.

Man, there are way too many variables that might be affecting your video playback, so you will need to be VERY specific about everything and anything you've done in your PC lately for me to be able to help you.

If you don't want to, just call a tech to fix it.

Actually, I fixed it.

I removed my WMP 9 thing(which reverted it back to normal) and reinstalled it. Fixed it up quite good.
