I don't think I've actually enjoyed watching any animated fight (and even most live ones) as much as I did that one. Usually when I watch a fighting sequence I feel all anxious wondering who is going to win and how it will be done and not suddenly put into a good mood. Probably because he was drunk as a skunk...I like that "Bruce Lee" yell thrown in there.

I already knew the ending thanks to the manga and I can't wait for the next episode. But this was fun watching.

I managed to see the first episode of BSSM Sailor Stars. Unfortunately, it appears that all the disks we received are rather messed up, and that's the only episode we were able to get to play. ^^;; Trying to get a hold of VKLL and make sure it's not a problem on our end, but it really looks like just a bad batch of dvds. Very, very, very disappointing, as I've been waiting about 7 years to finally get these (perpetually broke). Oh well, as long as a solution can be found and I can finally see the rest of Sailor Moon, I'll be pleased. I've waited this long, what's a few more weeks/months?

First episode, and the plot is very intriguing. Just some parts like "Kiyu is the Hero of Justice and is coming to beat you up!" parts that annoy me, just because they are just a bit..too embarassing.

Watched volume one of Saint Tail this afternoon. It's cute, but it hasn't really drawn me in with the characters. I can only hope there's a bit more to it in the next dvd or it will be dropped.

And this evening I watched the first disk of Full Metal Alchemist....Wow. I was worried about it, given how much hype I've seen surrounding it (same hype for Kenshin and FLCL which I didn't like), but I was completely blown away by it, as was my husband. Come on, April, hurry up and get here. ^_^


Next up will be the first disk of .hack.
[edit] Which was also surprisingly good. Once again, the hype around it had me nervous, but I liked it. Although, I don't think I would have understood it/gotten into it nearly as much if it weren't for the fact that I'm an occasional MMORPGer. Definitely as intrigued by it as I am by Full Metal Alchemist, but just in a different way.
