I guess I miss the really cool users who haven't been on lately. MTG, for instance, or vivian58. But hey, Bob's back in the game! I don't care he's not an admin anymore, administration is a minimalist job ideally.

EDIT2: And Pudding and Miss Padfoot are also gone. Crepe.

Cheers for that, Tharkun. I don't miss being an Admin either. :)

What I miss the most are all the rules I made up which end up being deleted, heh. I was foolish not to save copies of them.

Completely ditto on here. WG&C I don't mind so much (there weren't that many rules for starters), but Role Play. Wow, I spent the whole of last summer writing the rules and then Christmas to edit it even finer. It's a good thing summer holidays are only two and a half days away. *shakes head* Those rules are important and necessary, not to mention it's a basic guide to PPT RPing.

Actually, I miss seeing Chrome's name at the top but it's no big deal really. Personally, I'm okay with not being Part of the Furniture: I never could decide what I wanted to be. :P

As to those 10k posts and more? Well - no matter and that's the honest truth. I post according to current situations and they eventually disappear anyway. I like my content more than the number itself. 1 incredibly meaningful post is not equal to 1 spammy post, yet they have the same number.

I do miss some RPs but the RPers were told to save their RPs if they were afraid of losing them so most should be okay (if the message was heeded).

Actually, you were banned from the Gods board for calling ASP a group of idiots that you should stay away from. Idiots is the same as morons. :)

...

Back on topic. I miss my post count. Having a big number made me feel like a big person when in reality I'm quite small. Gods board. I miss that board. Especially the Divine Dementia. You got to spam. Yay. The stars. Bubbles look funky. Personal quotes. Even if mine always stayed the same. Name changing. Bring back name changing so I can finally get rid of that ! in my username. I forgot to. =P The little window thingy surrounding the buttons at the top. It looks plain. And the red text on the steelblue heading. Dunno why I miss it. I just do.

Ohhhh me too Bob. Me too. No annoying clubs around and annoying members. PPT was a happy place. *sighs* Then it had to happen.

The clubs have been around for about 16 months now.

But I do agree that things were quite different a year ago, though a year ago I didnt have the internet thus I wasn't here. A year and a half ago I can still remember when none of my friends had become mods (Lillie, Ecliptic, Senja, so forth).

I would imagine CCC to be around that long, but definately not ASP or the Gnome Legion.

CCC was devoted to something entirely different back in the beginning, and that was scaring newbies (which has now been banned, I believe). "Clubs" now are basically having many people join and participate in doing things like making mini-fads.

Yep, during the 7 months I was away somehow things got out of hand, angered Jim and the mods, and got it banned. I have no idea how long the Gnome Legion has been around as apparently this is the 'second' gnome legion, ASP, not sure either. Twas originally dedicated to making Avs or something. Mini-Fads are quite fun.

As a gnome, I don't think so, and we didn't really do much - no wait, I had a PM from Collin asking me to take over the legion and then they posted a thread - but I was away from PPT after that and don't know the havoc they may have wreaked.

But, as a former member of both CCC and ASP, there was absolutely no time to have an individual set. Especially when compounded upon my Duck, Duck, Goose, Dare habit. And forget my cryptic messages in my sig... So, I quietly detached from both.

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.

It has a good purpose, but... well, no one seems to want to follow it.

Well, it's SUPPOSED to be to welcome new members (we sorta have that covered), hold giveaways, do requests, and stuff like that.

There's really no point in fighting it Jill. If people want to be in a group to do things that everyone else already does without being in a group (welcoming new members, and acting crazy and random [come on, we all do it, just admit it]) then let them. The CCC stands out among the other clubs, because they do things to make themselves stand out (changing names and sets). I hardly even notice the Gnomes around PPT. As I recall, ASP members sometimes add funny things into their posts (I remember something to the extent of 'I fought the lawn and won' or something) this makes them noticible.
What was my point? **tries to remember**
The clubs don't annoy me as much as they used to.
Yup, that was my point.

I just miss the whole feel of the entire forum. It felt like home. This just feels like any bunch of forums >_<

It'd help if we had the Christmas skin and the smilies back, though.

I miss the debate forums.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.
