Smiles, ranks, usergroups and posts. I was getting really high up there, you know. But the smiles..oh..these new ones are bad,I think. I was just getting used to the cute, small round ones.

I miss my christmas templates.

And the roleplays.

Definently the roleplays.

I miss the debate and BG boards.

I also miss the PPT from around a year ago. No 'clubs', less members, less flaming, and less 'OMG touchyness'. x_x

(And do stop the mini-flame war, guys)

Not really. If someone's clever, they can spam without being caught. :/

I can't help saying it, but wouldn't that happen if you weren't doing your job :P

...or people can be helpful and responcible PPT members and make sure to cut down on their spamming to give the mods an easier time, especially since they're volunteers.

A doctor cant save the world, but he can try. I think the mods try as hard as they can to deal with spamming and such, and I think the mods are doing a excellent job. *5 cheers*

I think I miss Pink Ink most. It was just you know..something to work on during the weekends and such.

Do not get me wrong here, I'm saying that the mod team is doing an amazing job as all spammers and innapropriate stuff is dealt too with speed and brutality....(like the police *Whistles*) and thus there aren't any here.

I miss Pink Ink too. Because we lost the database, we also lost quite a bit of work. Even though I've only been on board for a bit, it's a worthwhile thing to do.

Post counts can be restored, if necessary. As can hacks, templates, and usergroups. We've already seen some of them be restored. So what if it takes the admins a couple of weeks? They're not vital, and at least we have a PPT :)

I see alot of comments that make me think back to days gone by and from what I can tell, alot of people seem to miss the enhancements and ideas that Janie and I carried out as Admins.

Don't forget that although Jim, Rune, HL and SL all did/do a great job at looking after the boards, the old boards were created by Janie and Myself and most of the ideas that came with that forum came from us. Those people mentioned above were simply caretakers of a forum that they had no real hand in creating. Sure SL had to create the thing, but at the time he gave very little input into what went into it. HL, Rune and Jim weren't Admins at the time, so they obviously had very little input also.

What you're looking at now is a stripped down, bareknuckle forum, with the odd enhancement/hack that Hunter has added so far. It may not be what we (Janie and Myself) wanted or envisioned for PPT, but that PPT is gone now and you have to let the current Admins run it the way they want to and the way they think is best for everyone.

Despite it all, I like the new PPT. It's a fresh start. Once in a while, those are quite refreshing.

Agreed. Plus, we also have the added bonus of getting rid of the thousands of inactive members we had before!

Although Remy always bragged about 10k members, I always had to smack him with the facts that more then half don't even post.
