Yeah, I know what you mean. That's why I don't let the girls wear them. I know not everyone uses those meanings for the bracelets, but all they need to do is bump into one wrong person, you know? It's a shame that something so cool can be turned into something so not.

It's so sad that some people have to make a perversion of such... completely innocent things.

I have just one bracelet that's more in the vein of the "LIVESTRONG" ones, which I love - I can't actually post what it says though, since it's political. :P Maybe I'll get a nice blurry picture of me wearing it, though. ;)

This is a big quotey post, so sorry. It's good to see that lots of people love their bracelets on PPT. :D

Oh and no one has commented yet on the lovely Paul. *pinches cheeks* You look as dashing as ever Paul. ;) You look slightly different from the last time I saw you on some random picture. Ah well, for the better of course!

Ooh! A dance battle! I'm definitely there. ;)

So, you all keep the bracelets on all the time? Wow. I used to wear them, but that was a while ago. I had tons, but I'd always take them of and switch them around depending on what I was wearing and such.

I hardly wear any jewelry now. I just wear my earrings and the ring Tim gave me. When we go out, I'll put on more, but not too much. If I wear a lot of jewelry, I feel closed in and weighted down. I like to feel free and light. :)

Yay for dance battles. :D I would win of course, naturally, with my out of time, random, waving arms all over kinda dancing. :P

Well nearly all the time. Sometimes I get sick of them and take them off, and I have to take them off for PE at school. :( But otherwise, I pretty much keep them on all the time.

Thank you. Glitter rules. ^_^

Sock wrote:Lovely bracelets Chasity and Amy. I love bracelets...jewlery in general. I never take mine off. I have three regular bracelets on the left and ten linked jelly bracelets on the right...and three necklaces. You two are making me feel inferior, but since I wear them linked I can't wear very many. =P

Again, thank you. :D

vkceankraz wrote:Amy, I love your crazy makeup. You wear it so well!

Aww, thank you. *hugs*

That whole thing is stupid isn't it? I mean, I just wear them because I love the colours, and they are pretty. Why should they be for anything else? They're decoration. ^_^ Ah well, stupid people in the world. *shakes fist*

No Jas, I'm not chained up... :D :D

What message do those bracelets give anyway? o_O meow.

Yesh yesh, glitter rules :D And so does SHINEY! *remembers how attracted she got with her friend in thailand and got pulled by a shop that sold SHINEY jewellry like magnetic force* :P Ahhh :D

Please note the site is kinda PG-13, I guess, because it's accurate.

I didn't realise for a while. No one where I live treats them like that anyway. :/

Welcome to the United States, Amy, where the media just tries to do everything they can to ruin every fad they can think of.

Really?! Nobody in Geordieland calls them shag bands?

Mind, we call every colour that, not just the black ones. It's not legally binding or owt, rofl.

Mon Mar 28, 2005 3:43 pm

Hm.

Someone in my english class wears a whole row of black band on both her arms.

Hm.

I feel somewhat sorry for the bracelets. They're pretty and people interpretet (sp....) things that way. *shakes head*

Those shag things are very popular with the gang bangers here in DC :P They have a more explicit name though...
