The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Gah, the cruelty! Making us wait a week after seeing that preview?
Good episode though. I'm not fond of Rob and Amber, but I'm in no rush to get rid of them. They make for some good quality TV time.
And for my disliking them... Rob just rubs me the wrong way, and Amber is such a slacker.

Oh yeah.. everyone who doesn't like Rob and Amber are just sooo jealous of the liars!
I'm sure the other teams are a bit envious that they have won a million, but come on... we all know that most of us would be more than likely thinking the same things they are.
Heck I know I'd be PO'd.
Rob and Amber have had TWO chances before the Amazing Race to win a million... Amber succeded.. and now they're being given a third chance?
I dont think it's very fair... what show are we going to see them in next... Big Brother?
But whatever!
Their attitudes annoy me, but I'd rather see that other couple leave before them... Ray and Deana. Ray's comments and her whining when she was on the horse.. just.. ugh... both of them are jerks. Him for saying those comments and her for letting him.

Techinically, they have had three chances to win a million dollars. Survivor Marquesas, Survivor: The Australian Outback and Survivor All Stars.
I would love it if they joined Big Brother. That would one awesome season.

They were offered a deal to have their wedding go on TV. I hope the don't do it for the money though.

Hmmm I must've counted their appearances in their first Survivor as one.. heh woops.. actually they've had 4 chances though. I completely forgot about that extra million they gave away after All-Stars.

I'd watch it.
I'm a die-hard Romber fan.

Well, I don't like Rob and Amber. I mean, I can understand if their strategy is to anger everyone else and do whatever they can to win, but I just hate how they get so mad when people do the same to them (like Lynn and Alex stealing the "bus").
Also, I bet you they'd be so mad if they were in last and no one gave them money, and I'm kinda shocked that Amber didn't give it to Merideth and Gretchen (sidenote: that was really sad that she fell, but we all knew it was a non-elimiation race (sidenote again: woah the penalty this time is seriously harsh!)).
I'm not sure if I wan't Rob and Amber to come in last and be eliminated so I can be rid of them, or if I want them to come in last and be non-eliminated so then no one will give them anything (and we all know Meridith and Gretchen would have if they ever do... but now they won't).
Go couple that can't have children! (Joyce and... husband)!
Edit: I'm glad Ray and Deana are gone. They reminded me too much of the couple last season... The crazy guy who seemed like he was gonna kill his wife?

I hated Rob and Amber before, but what they did the 2nd hour just made me hate them even more.
At least all the other teams.. including the jerks who got eliminated asked if everything was ok.... THEY DIDN"T EVEN ASK!!!!!
They didn't even slow down and hang out the window to see if everyone was alright.
What did they do? Made a comment about not wanting anyone to get hurt.... and then Rob has the nerve to smile and make some smug remark about how it's still a race???
And then his comment about Gretchen hurting herself on purpose just to get sympathy???
I'm sorry but they're both freakin idiots and I hope they get eliminated soon.
Their actions these 2 episodes just really sucked major butt and proved that they're nothing but a couple of jerks who don't care about anyone but themselves.
But anyway.... I'm so happy no one was seriously hurt.. and SOOOO happy the bro's made it! I was literally on the edge of my seat cheering them on during their sprint to the finish. MAN that was intense.

That footrace elimination was awesome. I was on the edge of my seat cheering, "GO GO GO GO YEEEAAAAAAHHH!!!!" It's great to see Ray gone! And the old folks outlasted him, too...what a leg!
As for Rob, he was especially wicked these two episodes, and if you're surprised by that then you need to watch a few episodes of "Survivor: All Stars." He is a bona-fide villain, make no mistake about it. You may say "Oh, I wish he was gone," but with Ray now gone, we can't afford to lose all our villains. Just like dramas, reality TV shows need bad guys to counter the "heroes." Without them, it's just "Celebrity Mole: Yucatan" where everybody loves each other and there's no fun to be had.
The brothers are growing on me. I love their attitudes, even if I don't get any of their inside-jokes. This shaping up to be a wonderful season.

Pfftt... he wasn't nearly as crappy in Survivor as he is now in AR.

*sniffle*
I like Meredith and Gretchen.
And I want them to win.
She reminds me of my grandmother.
And when I heard her crying "HELP" I was sitting in my chair going "I"d help you!" *sniffle*
And i'm barely 53 minutes into the program yet.
Aww.
Delivering stuff to orphans... ... theres so many of them. *sad*
*ponders on how I can fix that*
Wed Mar 30, 2005 7:12 am
Oh my gosh! The last leg was incredible... with the brothers and Ray/Deana racing to the pitstop. I was sitting on the couch cheering for the brothers! I thought they were about to cry when they made it.
I'm SO GLAD to see Ray and Deana go! Ray is such a jerk! And the way he ended it was just ridiculous: "I'm never going to compete with her in anything again"... like it's her fault they didn't make it. He's always telling her to stop complaining and stuff. And then nearing the credits he's like, "We've got to figure out what's pulling us together and what's tearing us apart." I know what's tearing them apart all right -- his egotistic, righteous, jackhole attitude. Grrrrr.
I really can't stand Rob and Amber. They're bigger jerks than Ray. I can't believe they didn't stop to check on the two that flipped their SUV over. ARGH. It makes me so mad how selfish and conniving they are. At least they belong together. *anger*
Wed Mar 30, 2005 8:20 am
Mm... of course 1st hour was gonna be non-elimination.
But yeah. I was amazed at the last-place penalty...
No posessions? Wow. You just KNOW they're going to go back into the snow somewhere someplace. Eeeebilness. At least they came in 5th eh?
And the footrace to the check in pad?
! Mwah! That's what the amazing race hasta be about
Although if I was put in that situation. That would stink. Running aint cool
And well... I'll admit Rob was a bit cold, but its still a competition. Gotta have these guys in the game. Til the end!

If rob and amber make it to the final episode imagine when they're running down the path of eliminated teams and no one claps or cheers for them...I'd laugh so hard!

I don't think they would really care.
I know I wouldn't!
