You know, I really started thinking about this question now. And I think I may go to the past instead of the future. I'm not sure. I want to go a few months in the past to see my friend Jessica again, but if I saw me in the past, wouldn't I like...explode or something crazy like that? O__O

The future, definitely. The future is unknown, the past is (to an extent anyway). I mean okay, things have been predicted for the future but no one knows what is actually going to happen.

Ah, this reminds me of Doctor Who.

The future. I'm far too dependant on technology to go into the past. And I like shiny stuff, I imagine the future to be very shiny.

I'd only go into the past if I could be royalty in ancient Egypt or Greece. Yup. Reclining, in the humid air, wearing lots of gold, getting fanned by my servants. **grins**

Definately the past! What's the point of living if you already know what the future hold?! Seriously though, I think I'm already stuck in the past, I'm obsessed with history and everything relating to it, so going back in time would just be the most amazing thing for me. Now you've gotten me all excited making me think I might actually me able to meet Napoleon. It's going to take some time for me to get over this disappointment.

But do you really think you'll be happy after knowing what will happen in the future? Will you find life meaningful and purposeful after finding out that you became rich and lived to a ripe old age of 99? Will you still be motivated to strive hard to achieve your ambitions, after knowing what happens?

ALL HAIL -DUCKY-

I don't know why everyone insists that the world will be all shiny and spiffed up in the future.

It's possible that WWIII would happen in 2029, and the world will be hurled back the the Copper Age, since all the industry will be destroyed and all the smart people, dead. :o

FOR HE IS THE KING OF DUCKS!

Past. Make a decision, see how it pans out, travel back if it didn't work. Almost like a save feature in a game.

Future. Travel forward a week to find out next weeks winning lottery numbers and then travel back to present time once you have them and use the same numbers for two weeks running to become a Millionare.
