I miss the Chat board. Not the Neoboards. The chatboard. As the chat board it was a place where people could come together to help each other, not scam and date, or even long rants about sucking blood.

I miss the low prices there were three-fours years ago.

I miss the liberties we had before neopets started its downward spiral into stupidity such as being able to use almost any coding in Petpages, shops, and Userlookups.

I really miss that you could read books unlimited times to a pet... it was just a simple restock and you could get your pet smart easily.

Heh, I remember when you could buy a Fire Wocky Morphing Potion for only around 30k. Due to an inflation, now morphing potions are almost all unbuyable.

You could get a Speckled Paint Brush for 50k at one time. Also, Purple Paint Brushes were around that price.
Not to mention Christmas Paint Brushes sold for only 10k.

I miss the frequent random events, where you really got good items. I was always getting paintbrushes when I visited Terror Mountain! I miss the cheaper prices in both the main shops and Shop Wizard shops. I miss the days when the servers ran well, and the glitches were few. I enjoyed it most when people weren't so report-happy and immature.

I miss Tombola giving out booby prizes if you didn't pull a winning ticket... And I miss the cheap Concert Tickets in Tyrannia....

I miss when, after 9 neopets time, the site became a wasteland, and all the shops stayed stocked. I miss throwing a fit because I was too poor to afford a faerie for 100NP. I miss the way the games room looked. Haha. That big shelf.
Oh. And the fact that Jacko loved me.

Can anyone tell me how the faerie employment agency worked. I think it was like scoring in a game. But when was it changed to gathering items?

Well I miss the cheap items(I should have bought another lab map when they were only 50k for the full one;) ) I miss being able to ask the uber faeries for a quest, I miss the snow faerie giving out GOOD items (I once had gotten a wand of supernova:D ) I miss not having millions of people on so it wasn't slow and I miss the secnd Bruce(The really fat penguin). I know there are others but I can't think of them now

Everything used to be a lot cheaper. I've only been playing since late 2002, and even I've noticed the dramatic changes. I remember buying a striped kau morphing potion for 12k and the last time I checked (which wasn't that long ago) they were nearing unbuyable prices. Now I wish I would of boughten two


edit: I just went and checked again and they are unbuyable now. They're selling for about 150k now. I swear it wasn't even a month ago I checked the prices.

I miss the cheap prices too. Back when most paint brushes were buyable and a whole lab map didn't cost 450k and morphing potions were all buyable... those were the days.

Yeah. I'm glad I got lab rays in my accounts before the sudden price inflation. Doubt I'd bother with it if I didn't have one now. Seeing as all I use it for really is to zap pound pets (Which can be usefull in getting avatars also) then putting them back (Or showing them on here for people to own )
