Ooo, I get to post about the euro! (color and architectural period)

5€ - Grey, Classical
10 € - Red, Romanesque
20€ - Blue, Gothic
50€ - Orange, Renaissance
100€ - Green, Baroque and rococo
200€ - Yellow-brown, Iron and glass architecture
500€ - Purple, Modern 20th century architecture

Oh yeah.

I collect foreign money. I have a £5 note, two £1 coins, a bunch more coins. The 20p is my favourite.
I also have $5 Australian (thank you Alex, with your weird windowed money!).
I'm more into the notes than the coins though, probably because my dad collects coins and so because of that I don't like them...
If anyone else wants to send me money, I'm totally open to it =)

(And yes, on my American keyboard, I have to use Alt+0163 everytime for the pound sign, and I use it a lot)

LOL! I have about 37 censt in Canadian money around my room, and I've never been to Canada (yet, going in May). I also collect money, but I'm not fanatic about it.

I live pretty far south, about halfway between the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes, and I still manage to get Canadian coins back in change sometimes. Usually dimes. It's weird.

(Chass was very amused when I sent her a $5 note...)

I know! I still have some from when I visited Australia ages ago. I kept looking through the little windows. :P

But Canadian money's still better cause they just changed it this past year. :D

In that case, I wonder why the Muggle campgrounds keeper was so mystified in GoF when Mr. Weasley gave him gold coins the size of hubcaps...?

Whatever.

£5 coins arent legal tender :P
i know no-one (other than the bank) thatll actually accept the things.

Really? That's awesome. Now I want one just to show my friends.

Nobody here accepts bills above $20, which I find a little weird because they go up pretty high, to at least $1000. (I know they've got those; Grover Cleveland's on them. He was a mediocre president that didn't do anything. He shouldn't be on a bill. Then again, Andrew Jackson was an arsehole and he got on the $10, I think...)

$1 bill: GEORGE WASHINGTON
$2 bill: THOMAS JEFFERSON
$5 bill: ABRAHAM LINCOLN
$10 bill: ALEXANDER HAMILTON
$20 bill: ANDREW JACKSON
$50 bill: U.S. GRANT
$100 bill: BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
$500 bill: WILLIAM MCKINLEY
$1000 bill: GROVER CLEVELAND
$5000 bill: JAMES MADISON
$10,000 bill: SALMON P. CHASE
$100,000 bill: WOODROW WILSON
(forgive the capitals, I copied and pasted)

There's your U.S. bills. I've never heard of a $100,000 bill before. I actually have a $10,000 bill. Too bad it's only a bookmark. =P

The heart looks very nice!
