The time has come. A full-scale invasion of New Maraqua by Captain Scarblade and his crew seems inevitable now. Will the Pirate Crew succeed in destroying Maraqua once again or will the Maraquan Army be able to save their world this time around? The outcome is up to Neopian citizens like you. Whose side are you on? What will you do to aid your cause?

Choose wisely. You will not be able to change your mind.

I chose Maraquan warrior. They have pertter trophies, yes pertter. xD What's the difference between Maraquan supporter or maraquan warrior.

Supporters can't fight. They will be donating items and playing games for points.

Warriors will fight. They must choose only one battle pet and can't use any other pet during the war.

If you missed the text on the signup page, here it is:

Support: If none of your pets are fighters but you still want to participate, join your side's support team. You can earn points by donating items, playing games, and various other non-battling things. Choosing this role means you CAN'T BATTLE WITH A PET IN THIS WAR.
Warrior: If you do have a battling pet, earn your points by joining your side's warriors and kicking some butt in the Battledome. You will be required to choose 1 pet with which to battle in this war! THAT IS THE ONLY PET YOU CAN BATTLE WITH during the duration of the war.

I went maraquan warrior. My best pet is useless, but I want to fight.

Are we getting a war forum this time around?

I think i'll go with maraquan... Only question is supporter or warrior... My pet is fairly strong - and I do want to fight, but if they are going to make it harder then the last war because of the fact that they expect newbies to pick supporters, and all the mega strong pets for warriors, then it might not be the best choice...

I wonder what the prizes will be like. I bet warriors will earn weapon prizes but supporters won't (after all, what would non-battlers want weapons for?).

I like that warriors and supporters have different trophies (and probably different names for the different ranks), too. It's easy to tell warriors and supporters apart, so people shouldn't complain if a supporter earns more points than an elite warrior does -- they aren't really in competition.

Decisions, decisions. Battler or supporter. I am truly a cruddy battler, but would hate to miss out on an avatar simply because I choose the wrong option. I am leaning toward supporter. Now, which side? Part of me loves being a pirate--swashbuckling adventure and all that jazz. But I do love the new Maraqua. I should just toss a coin.

I went with Maraquan Support, only because Scarblade isn't a very likeable bad guy. I mean, if it was SLOTH...! *sigh*

I'm not entirely happy about supporting the Maraquans though. They have a damn dirty Usul on their team. *grumble*

I'm pretty sure Maraqua will win, in any case. What's the point of rebuilding Maraquan on the map if they lose?

Very clever of them to limit the warriors to one pet (seeing last time with the Poisoned items people ended up switching pets to get points.) It does level the battlefield off.

I'm just hoping there isn't any poison items until the last few waves unlike the last war >_>

I really cant decide on which side to join.. I really like the whole Pirate idea.. cause I really like Pirates.. but then again I have an account called kelpbeard.. and I like Maraqua.. gah! I cant decide!!

Thanks hmm. my pet is kinda average but has okay stats, i used the lab ray so it doent have very high level but these are my stats:

Level : 4
Health : 258 / 258
Strength : AMAZING (94)
Defence : bulletproof
Move : EXCELLENT (51)

Wow you do have a good pet! I said to heck with it and signed up for maraquan supporter. I REALLY love that trophy!
