Well it's obviously out of the original 3 for me, so I'd have to pick Empire Strikes Back! The 5th one is where Luke really begins to get in touch with "the force" and everything. The fourth one was just an introduction kind of, I love it, but it's not my favourite. Also, the 6th just spends too much time on that moon(the forest area), and I got annoyed with those furry little creatures after a while.

But it's a close toss up between A new Hope and The Empire Strikes back.

I like Episode 4 the most. Tattooine just has some strange effect on me in that episode. The planet feels more real in that than any other episode. Episode 5 comes in a close second with the battle of Hoth.

Technically, I found Empire Strikes Back to be the 'best' of the movies, so I voted for it (didn't see that within the original post it changed from 'best' to 'favorite' until after I voted).
However, Return of the Jedi is my favorite of all the films. There was so much for me to love, especially as a youngster. I adored the Ewoks, loved the Jabba's Palace scene, and there's nothing cooler than seeing lightning zapping over Luke's teeth. Plus, there's a few more scenes of Wedge Antilles, particularly in the special edition. For some reason that character just jumped out at me to become my favorite side character.

The empire strikes back is the best.

Revenge of the sith is my fave though.

Episode IV ofcourse!
it's the only star wars with:
-A story that feels like you've always known it (while you see the movie for the first time)
-IMO the best characters and story
-GRAND MOFF TARKIN!!!

I picked Episode III because personally I think its the best, but I really like Episode V, and V as well.
