You're going to College? But, I thought you were around 16?
I think college is in reference to 2 years' matriculation (A-levels, I'm presuming?), and university is for Bachelor's degree, which takes 3 years in the UK.
3 years in England and Wales, 4 (5 for Masters) in Scotland

Not that that's really important but hey, random knowledge for everyone, heehee. Also in Scotland you go through high school and then college if you want a diploma or HND or similar, or uni if you want a degree. The reason for the difference (for all non-UK people) is we have Highers instead of A levels which only take one year instead of two for A-levels so there is an extra first year at uni. However! We also have Advanced Highers you can do in the optional last year at school which mean you don't really need the first year at uni (if at a Scottish uni) and so can skip straight to second year. Or, and more commonly, do first year regardless and party non stop
How's that for totally useless knowledge

Good luck to everyone still with exams before summer relief (in fact to everyone with school or uni still!), you have my extreme sympathies - exams make me physically sick :/ But school and uni are great fun other than the evil E word things, I'm out into the real world soon
