You're going to College? But, I thought you were around 16?

I think college is in reference to 2 years' matriculation (A-levels, I'm presuming?), and university is for Bachelor's degree, which takes 3 years in the UK.

I'll just be relieved when exams are over and I can be completely lazy. I haven't been completely lazy for a long time.

I have mixed feelings, I'm moving back to Vegas this summer so I leave all of my friends, but I return to old ones.. I don't want school to be over because aftert his I no longer will be able to go to school with my boyfriend, he's a senior.I guess I'd rather let this year last forever.. but.. good things rarely last

I definatly know what you are talking about, my boyfriend is graduating as well...it's tough.

It's gonna be weird because I am only a Sophmore so I have went to school with him both years I've been here.. next year will be weird.. no meetings between classes.. no lunch together.. so maybe the change of schools will help O.o;

3 years in England and Wales, 4 (5 for Masters) in Scotland :) Not that that's really important but hey, random knowledge for everyone, heehee. Also in Scotland you go through high school and then college if you want a diploma or HND or similar, or uni if you want a degree. The reason for the difference (for all non-UK people) is we have Highers instead of A levels which only take one year instead of two for A-levels so there is an extra first year at uni. However! We also have Advanced Highers you can do in the optional last year at school which mean you don't really need the first year at uni (if at a Scottish uni) and so can skip straight to second year. Or, and more commonly, do first year regardless and party non stop 8)

How's that for totally useless knowledge ;) Good luck to everyone still with exams before summer relief (in fact to everyone with school or uni still!), you have my extreme sympathies - exams make me physically sick :/ But school and uni are great fun other than the evil E word things, I'm out into the real world soon :o

However, a college is also part of a University- at many universities you will study at a college which is part of the University, for example, Queen's college, Oxford.
