They're both great shows. It all depends on which seasons of The Simpsons you're talking about. Most of the seasons after season 7 are either hit or miss. Some episodes of Family Guy are better than some episodes of The Simpsons, and vice-versa.

No way! The Simpsons is timeless!

Homer: "Oppp...porro"
Oprah: "Oprah! Orpha!"
Homer: "... Oppp...poreo"

Let's not be forgetting a certain Halloween Episode involving a cursed hammock and a lot of Homers...

"D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!" "D'oh!"

That episode was the point in which The Simpsons meant more to me than even Seinfeld.

The Simpsons, absolutely no question. I've seen every episode...it's been on for 16 seasons and will go one for 2 more. Although there are some misses, they make up for it by have some really funny episodes. Some of the newer ones are dumb, but I don't blame them, it's hard to come up with different, funny jokes after 16 years.

I've never laughed once while watching Family Guy. It's so stupid. I've seen like six episodes too.

Homer: It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone.

I think that some of my favorite episodes are the one with Bart's Boy Band and the one where Homer goes to New York. (It's a lost episode, they probably won't show it again in America :()

Ditto! I was raised on The Simpsons, and so was my sister!

And they said The Simpsons wouldn't last one season... HAH!

"The Simpsons" are the best! Family Guy can be really funny at times but it can be really stupid and annoying at times also. I know the Simpsons havent been all that great lately but there still watch them every evening and there halloween episodes are great.

joking aside; http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/cult/200 ... 9876.shtml
and the imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462538/) has it listed for a 2008 release.
just in time for me to be hideously dissapointed by the destruction of my childhood caused by the transformers remake.
joy.

It's true. My brother saw it on E! Talk Daily. I was suprised that they would turn to a movie. It's sad really, it will ruin the series unless it's a really good one.

THE SIMPSONS, IS, A, MUST, TV, SHOW, TO, WATCH. :D

Simpson, Homer Simpson
He's the smartest man in history
He lives in the Springfield
And he was to hit a chestnut tree AAAH

I just heard from my brother that Conan O'brien wrote 4 Simpson episodes. They are:
New Kids on the Block
Marge vs. the Monorail
Homer Goes to College
Tree House of Horror IV: The Simpson's Halloween Special IV
Conan is just to cool.

The Simpsons! I dont think family guy is quite as funny.

Hmm, hard choice. I've seen waaay more episodes of The Simpsons, and a lot of them are hilarious ('cept the newer ones), so I'll go Simpsons. :3
