I'd love to know what's wrong with the old versions?

They cut out the violence in the old cartoons because it was "Teaching our children violence" but yet they do this?!

Mel Blanc is SPINNING in his grave.

Yeah, I know I had an overwhelming urge to strap rockets to my feet so I could pull a giant elastic band that would fling an anvil at my friend so he'd fall off a cliff. Also my large, novelty sized mallet collection was growing everyday.

I know my credit card from ACME has competely been maxed out...lord knows I walk off cliffs to just see if I could walk on air!

I was talking about the old designs of the "Loonatics".

Tsk, tsk, everyone knows in the future, no one is "porky." Therefore, the Pig formerly known as Porky will be super-skinny.

That will be the day I dig myself a hole in the middle of Alaska, sit in it, curl up into a ball and sing nursery ryhmes untill I freeze.
*sniff* I love my Porky Pig. His stutter was so cute.

In the future, everyone goes to speech therapy classes.

^ Wow.

Most people with cosmic dust just get arrested.

I think this is probably the worst use of the Looney Tunes license yet...

Didn't Clapton sing some song about that? I think I recall something about cosmic dust somewhere... *ponders*

The good folks at the WB came out with some "less menacing" character designs for their upcoming futuristic "Looney Tunes" superhero spinoff cartoon, "Loonatics Unleashed." The characters' powers have also been described in greater detail (Poor Lexi isn't stuck with just "Super Hearing" anymore!).

yeah.. now she gets hyper hearing! whoo!
I guess its time to lay down the purple latex mask... i just cant stand up to danger duck's magical engery spheres or tech e coyetes electromagnetic powers,.

those eyes and coloring are hidious. It looks to me more like the dark side of Dora the explorer.

Quick! Help Lexi bunny stop swiper from stealing the WB's money! Swiper no swiping... swiper no swiping.. SWIPER NO SWIPING!

They shouldn't have given them another makeover. If you want evil and menacing, something totally different from the Looney Tunes, then go for what these 'Loonatics' used to be.

Ugh. The old designs made me go, "OMGWTF?!?!?"..

But, they were semi-orignal. These are just a random fake-anime look . I'm not going to say anything about the plot, yet.. But.. I hate the character designs, aside from Daffy Duck. :P

For some reason, I like the design for.. Wait.. What is that Daffy-dude's name, anyway? Meh... o_O ... what the heck?!? Danger Duck. ._. Ok, I'm scared now.

.... So, we have Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Darkwing Duck, Duck Dodger, Eh.. Are there any more Duck names from random cartoons that I missed? Eh, whatever. Now we have Danger duck.
...
...
..
::shudder::

Doesn't that just strike fear into the hearts of millions?

A million Classic!Looney Tunes fans, that is.
I miss the DECENT Kids WB shows. I always liked Static Shock. >>; But, I'm a sucker for most non-cheesey Superhero type shows. But, this is one that I really dislike what I've seen so far.

I'm ashamed of you, WB. :P First you killed Angel.. ;; ... Then you're killing the Kids WB.

Ten points for effort, WB, minus several million for lack of overall orignality.

Seeing that name - Danger Duck - It makes me think he's related to Danger Mouse :P

Personally, I liked the old look over the new look, it was more futuristic, adventurous and completely different to anything WB have done before.
Now, they've redrawn them to make the characters easily recognisable.

Also, just for coming2atvnearu - http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/acme.html
