Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Yeah.
We don't have a car. For a reason. Because all you do is pollute the environment, cause traffic jams and get annoyed. They cost a lot of money. I have none of that because I just take the bus. A full bus pollutes less and costs less than all of the people in it using cars. + The road is more empty.
I can get everywhere with public transport.

... are we talking about the same underground?
i usually catch the bus, given that im in college (or rather was, term ended yesterday) everyday (despite having lessons only on three, i miss her already

).

I have to disagree. It has to be the worst underground I have ever experienced. Paris earning a second place. And Paris is awful, but really, there is a
huge gap between both.
Yay for the Dutch underground!

I take the metro link to places seldomly, and I take the Redbird Express (bus) to Cardinals Games. I checked no, because:
A) I hardly ever use Metrolink anymore.
B) Cardinals games are losing my interest plus tickets are expensive.

Yep. I get the bus home 3 times a week (I'm at school late the other two days), and sometimes in the mornings.
The public transport system here in Melbourne is awesome. The trains are pretty regular, and I love our ticketing system

The only public transportation here is the city bus and I'm not allowed to ride it so no public transportation for me

Why would that be, Fzun?

I walk or cycle pretty much everywhere, though I don't have a lock for my bike, so Im in a little pickle there.
When I start Uni, Im going to need to take the train. haha.

I took the TTC (Toronto Transit) all throughout high school and jr high, so that's 6 years straight
I moved near to campus for University though, and have biked/walked pretty much everywhere, but I still transit weekly either streetcar, subway or bus.
In the fall I will be living a little farther frm school, so I estimate I will be taking the subway 3 times a week (depending how many days I have class)

I use it whenever I want to go somewhere x) I take the bus home or to Dundee to go shopping, and I used to take the train to see my boyfriend but that's no longer necessary =)
I can't take driving lessons at the moment due to my sore neck, and even if I could I can't afford them. And even if I could I can't afford a car, so um yeah - go public transportation!

I have to, and frankly it's one of the poorest planned systems (and it became even worse earlier this month.) I feel I have to complain about missing a bus or a train at least once a week (and they don't do a thing about it.)

Los Angeles public transportation is scary. I don't use it all that often (as it's also terribly inconvenient), but I do take the Metro sometimes when I'm going somewhere with friends from school, or on an orchestra trip downtown.

"No"
I have used it before, like once or twice. Where I currently live, the buses don't travel very far.

Really the only mass transit I use are carpools to get to school. No buses, etc. for me

- they are great to conserve fossil fuels though!
