its a relatively well-known fact.
a relic from the manner in which the solar system was formed.
not helped least of all by the numerous extinction events.
Super volcaoes and asteroids slightly rocking the axis, that and the magnetic poles swapping every now and then (watch out for that one, six seconds without radiation protection is going to really mess everyones day up)

cant give any sources on it, partly because im busy, but mainly because im too lazy.
tis a simple search on orbit degredation mind.

I'm still curious about all these one-legged pigeons hopping about.

Sun Jun 26, 2005 5:10 pm

youve never seen one?
first wonder of the verminous world they are!

Maybe pigeons in Canada just have better personal hygeine skills.

meh, either way i giggle maniacly whenever i see the little vermin hopping down the road on one leg because they eroded it away.

I would never go in the sea again.

On the bright side, it'd be much easier to find a warm spot.

I'd tell my brothers that there was a big Mountain Dew promotion down at the shore.

Oh boy. Something I don't know that's worth looking up.

EDIT: I did find something about those magnetic fields, and was surprised to hear that the shift in polarity isn't as uncommon as I thought it was.

thats basic biology, unless i got totally turned around while playing poker.
(probably not the best thing to do in a science lesson, but im fairly certain i got the gist of the workings of the body)

erm.... the urinary system is different to the intestines. the intestines give you your poo. your kidneys give you your wee. Trust me, i'm doing medical science.

Wow, more pee and poo than I ever care to think about--let alone talk about.

Yeah, that would never happen. We had a big, looooong discussion about this in science class, and prooved it wrong. Everyone can't jump and land at *exactly* the same time. And we would never tilt the Earth's orbit like that. All we'd probably do is make a big loud noise from so much jumping. ;)
Still, it's pretty funny that people are trying this. He he.

I signed up! I've decided I'm going to be completely random, and I'm making a button for my LJ userinfo saying "I tried to change the world's orbit! Did you?"

Yukio, you have insane ideas. *nod*
