Aww, well I personally think you should keep at least your best/most treasured items and of course your pets and petpets! You never know when the Neo-bug will bite 
Take yourself a break, put your pets in the lodge and just check in from time to time to do dailies, get your bank interest, just poke around to see if there's anything new and interesting to get you back into it

Sorry to hear that Neopets is losing another good member. Meh, I don't go on much anymore, either. It does get boring.. But, I'll take anything if you still are giving something out. Well, I actually got behind. But some items will be coming your way soon, and I don't want to go back. I kinda found another addiction, a competition for Neopets, and I like it much better.
Edit: Wait! Did they disable the give to a neofriend feature? Because I can't enter screennames anymore to give items to. I need help!
