i hear its horrid. I hear instead of a serious action packed thriller like any batman or spiderman or other superhero movie, this one.... is supposed to be funny. They put nonstop jokes and puns in. But its not funny. And by the looks of the commericials... it isnt.
*punch* dang ive always wanted to do that....
*to thing* where are your ears?
Yeah. If thats what they put on the commericals, it must suck.

However, Jessica Alba is extremely hot, especially since she is blonde in this movie, so im going to see it.

The "where are your ears" comment was actually the funniest thing I've heard in a movie for a while. But maybe that's just me.

I like it, but didn't love it. If I had to go see it again, I wouldn't complain about it, and if I saw it on t.v. I'd watch it.

It just seemed like it didn't really go anywhere. An hour into the movie my friend turned to me and said "When is the plot going to actually start?" The whole movie was pretty much just set up. It was great set up, but still just set up, and not really action packed adventure.

I wouldn't say it was non-stop funny, in fact most of the jokes I found fit quite well.

For a comic book movie, it was kinda unrealistic at parts. At this one point, the Thing gets from point A to point B REALLY quickly somehow. And the whole thing with him and Alicia... to keep this PG, I won't elaborate on how horribly wrong that really is.

And at one point, a civilian sees Sue and says "OMG! You're the Invisible Woman!" and then she is mobbed by people. But then later, Johnny introduces the team and makes up names for them, and he calls Sue the "Invisible Girl". So how would the civilian earlier know her codename was Invisible Woman if Johnny didn't even make it up yet (or at all really)?

But it didn't suck. I'd give it 3.5/5. I imagine the sequel would be better. It will probably be more plot based, as opposed to this one which was definitely character-set-up based (which isn't a bad thing, but isn't good for an entire movie).

It may not be well recieved by some critics (but for once, Ebert is really discredited because he compared Sue's powers to Storm from X-men and said they were the same and boring...) but from what I've seen, it has been WIDELY accepted by the comic book fan-base. So take that for what you will.

P.S. If nothing else, Jessica Alba is in her underwear at one point. Need I really say more? No. No I needn't.

so in other words i probably wont go to see it?
Jessica alba in her undies doesnt impress me, that was what Sin city was for afterall.
oh well, bet it wasnt halfway as bad as the Transformers remake due out next year.
(George. flurkin. Clooney. as. Optimus. Prime. :x )

And that part alone makes the movie worth seeing.

My friend saw it and he said it was awful. Typical superhero type plot with a "pretty" girl added in for eye candy just to boost up the ratings.

Pfft I'm jealous of Jessica Alba's looks and bod :P rofl
I don't hate on her though cause I like alot of the movies she's in.

Anywho... JUST from the commercials, the movie doesn't look all that great to me. The Fantastic 4 just isn't interesting to me at all. Wish they had picked better heroes.. like maybe Wildcats muahaha heh or uhm... this other one I can't remember the name of for the life of me. OR a few others heh....
Guess Fantastic 4 was just a safe choice though... *shrugs*

I'm gonna have to wait to see it on DVD though since a certain someone that's going to get smacked upside his head went and saw it without me.

If they were using Jessica as a way to get people to go see F4, it worked. I barely payed attention to what was going on. I was too focused on Jessica.

well thats a good reason to see the film :P

meh, so many better comics to royally mess... i mean "adapt"
had to go with the fantastic four didnt they.
*total Transformers fanboy*

It was a pretty good movie, i liked it. And for the girls sake Chris Evans is HOT! Especially when he just had a towel on hot body!! He was also funny, and cool.

And I'm not afraid to admit that I'm jealous of Jessica Alba shes beautiful.

This movie was HORRIBLE. The acting was so bad I was literally cringing. The special effects were kind of sort of cool, but nothing worth $8. This is just a movie made so that they can market stupid toys to spoilt kids who bully their parents into buying them.

It's a lot better if you like Jessica Alba.

Unfortunately for you, you're a girl. :P :P :P :P :P
I really hope there is a Fantastic 4 2. It is so weird to say that.
The movie had potential. I'm kinda glad it is doing well. That means it's got a decent shot at a (hopefully MUCH BETTER) sequel.

Because that stops someone from fancying someone  I know plenty of females that would probably fancy her...well actually probably not her as she really isn't that popular around here.

I think I'll give this film a miss, the reviews are horrendous and I'm with Fiddleysquat in the whole sfx not worth the £5 it would cost here. I can't even afford to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory :( My younger bro's are also avoiding this one, it just ain't cool enough.

The only comic book film I need is X Men 3 anyway :D
