Kat was just poking about the corridor where all the rooms were located when she felt the ship lurch slightly. A quick glance out of a nearby porthole confirmed that the ship was leaving. Kat quickly ran up on deck.

((Liv, Jaye: I'm going to be leaving for New Jersey for a couple of days. If someone could please take care of my character, that'd be great.

Aminta moaned and covered her mouth as the ship set sail. She lurched out of the room, leaving her half unpacked suitcases wide open. Passing Luke, she gave a weak wave. As Aminta wandered around the ship a bit more, her stomach settled down, and she regained balance. "Eh, I'll just keep looking around the ship. Just get myself familiar with it and the people..." she muttered.

The ship was departing and Lila observed that there were a few who weren't too comfortable with this. She walked around the cabins and to the side again, facing the front so the wind blew against her. Lila noticed Aminta coming out, looking a little sick. She waved at her and tried to get her to come to the edge.

Marie grinned at the departing dock, and went outside her cabin- looking to meet some others. She wandered around, looking at people as she went, hoping to get to know them soon enough. She saw some girls and moved toward that direction, her outgoing nature getting the better of her.

Illyne popped the earphone out from her iPod and turned it off, deciding to save the electricity as it didn't look like she would be able to recharge them on this ancient ship. She felt the ship rocking gently beneath her.
She stretched, bored, and then bent down to open her suitcase to unpack, but then thought that she did not want to be caught in a storm and have her possessions hurled across the room in a violently lurching ship, and thought the better of it.

Kat noticed another girl approaching with long brown hair, and smiled at her. She wanted to befriend the others on the journey, and to have fun. She edged towards the side of the ship and looked over the edge, to the sea, and then towards the dock. She decided to wave, Titanic style.

Marie grinned and went over to the girl. "Hello, I'm Marie!" Perky and forward as ever, she smiled at the other girl. She looked out toward the water suddenly, her breath caught in the beauty of it. She certainly did love the sea and ships.

Lila turned out to the ocean and gazed at the sparkling sea.
"It's a great day to start a voyage, isn't it?" A voice beside Lila exclaimed and she turned to see a very happy, smiling Karl.
"Indeed it is." Lila returned the smile and looked back out. "Shouldn't you be looking out?" Glancing, she caught Karl fidgeting a little.
"I'm assuming nothing much is ahead. Just taking a little break." Karl leaned against the edge. "What brings you on this journey?"
"I was pretty much forced." Lila began. "My parents saw that I'm not outgoing enough and always shutting myself in the house. They were pretty annoyed at me and decided to send me away for a while. But you know what," she turned around and leaned at the edge on her back, "even though this is pretty much forced, I'm starting to have fun. It's nice to getaway from my home sometimes."

Luke strode up on deck, Peter chirping onto his shoulder. Suddenly, the bird flew off, and Luke followed the bird's flight path, onto Lila's shoulder. Luke smiled softly as he remembered all the time he's had with his friend. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket; he fished it out and flipped up the top.
"'Allo? Oui, maman, on y va bientôt. Oui. Oui, je me suis réuni Lila. Oui, j'ai dit bonjour. Oui, je peux dire bonjour pour vous. Oui. À bientôt.*"

Karl moved away a little from Lila as her friend, Luke, came by. Lila petted the little bird on her shoulder with her thin fingers and had it settled on her index finger. She gave it a little peck on the head and smiled.
She realised Luke was talking to his mother and quickly asked if she could talk to her for a while before he hang up. Peter chirpped happily as he sat on Lila's fingers.

Luke held up a finger, and continued, "Maman... attente... Lila voudrait parler à vous... en Anglais...*" Luke's mother spoke into the phone; Luke smiled and handed his cell over. Peter flew back to Luke's shoulder, as he was disrupting Lila's taking of the phone.

Lila reached for Luke's phone and put it against her right ear as Peter flew away. "Hello Mariette? How are things at yours? ...Heh, I'm fine; yep. I'll watch out for him, if I can. It's all right, he's got another friend here. You know her? Aminta? Indeed.... Yep. ...Sure thing, I'll make sure I'll take good care of myself. You too, take care! Bye."
Lila hung up and handed the phone back to Luke with a little grin. "Take great care, Lukey dear." Lila winked at Luke and laughed.

Kat smiled widely at Marie. "Hey! Great to be finally leaving isn't it... Leaving all the old baggage behind and going somewhere new." Kat stood on the bottom rail of the sides of the ship to get a better view, and leaned forward, letting her red hair get caught up in the wind.

Lifting up her head from the book Audrey looked around suspiciously. Where the heck are everyone?, she thought and gazed around a bit more. Either they were hiding from the rainbow-mohican weirdo on purpose or then they had simply missed Audrey's existence so far, except for that girl she had exchanged a few words with. Not that it mattered; she was gone now as well. Changing her position on the small bench on the deck slightly she turned to the next page in her book and continued reading.
