Name: Roz Carvin
Age: 19
Appearance: On the tall size, Roz has waist-length wavy, golden-brown hair which she usually keeps tied back in a ponytail or a long braid. She has dark brown eyes and rectangular shaped glasses that change into sunglasses when she's outside. Roz's skin has a nice sun-kissed glow to it, giving the impression that she's outside most of the time. She generally wears deep blues, rich emeralds, dark purples and black. She generally wears knee-high lace-up boots, but they usually hidden by her pants and can only really be noticed when she wears a skirt or dress, which is never that often. Her work uniform consists of khaki shorts and an olive green polo with the logo of the garden shop she works at: Lee's Leaves
Personality: Roz is quiet and shy, she hates drawing attention to herself and will do almost anything to remain an anonymous wallflower. However, when she's around people with whom she's comfortable with she opens up a bit and becomes a bit more talkative and will crack an occasional joke (generally in a serious situation).
History: Roz grew up a moderately happy child in a large, abundant mansion with her parents. After her mother died under mysterious circumstances, her father began to waste away and they left the home and the pair moved into a small apartment. Roz works at the garden shop, and occasionally does an odd job here and there, to help her father pay their bills.

Jake responded to this sudden experience by slamming (rather hard) on his brakes. Muttering a few cursewords as he did so. It seems the people around North Hill are so reclusive and out of touch that rules of the road simply didn't apply any more. My kind of place! Jake thought to himself, as he resumed his slow drive around the building, eyeing it from every angle. He scribbled down the word 'Motorbike' on a notepad, meaning to issue sweet revenge if he ever saw the thing again.

Iolanthe Bonner bobbed her head to the time of the music blaring from her mp3 player as she spritzed some cleaner on a window. "I'm ever so lo-ost... I can't find my way." She grabbed a soft rag off of the table and wiped the blue liquid off the glass. "Been searching, but I have never seen... A turnin', a turnin' from deceit..." Io paused as she heard a distant sounding voice call her name. She turned off the mp3 player and tossed the cloth aside, calmly striding into the main section of the store, headphones around her neck. "Hey Alicia, what is it?"

Alicia glanced towards Iolanthe, she began to speak, "Listen, we've been called to North Hill for a job. It seems as if we're going to be staying at the house which we'll be renovating. But, we're going to be paid double than what the price is. Isn't that great?!"

Iolanthe stared at Alicia for a moment, she seemed to be dumbfounded, did Alicia even confirm this with Matt, the owner? Did she know where this place was?

"Alicia, do you even know where North Hill is? Do you know the stories behind North Hill? Did you even ask the manager?" questioned Iolanthe, she seemed very tense about the subject at hand.

Alicia shook her head, she hadn't asked directions and another fact, she didn't even know where this house was located. She hadn't even asked Matt for permission, but he was out of town and it was her responsibility to decided what jobs her team was willing to take.

"Listen," she continued, "I'll simply call the woman back and ask her where she lives,"

Iolanthe raised an eyebrow, "Do you even have her number?"

Alicia looked at her with disbelief, "Star six nine, hello, I can simply call that number and they'll trace the number back," Alicia seemed quite nervous, it seemed as if she knew where the house was located even though the directions weren't even given to her.

She picked up the phone and dialed the number, "Yes, I would like you to trace the call that I just received. It's important,"

Alicia received a yes ma'am and was told the number, however the operator told her something which had begun to frighten her, "What do you mean no one has lived in that house for years?"

Iolanthe eyes were struck with fear, if no one lived there, how did Alicia receive a call from that house?

"Well, I'm sure there's some misunderstanding. I'm very sure that woman you're talking about has a daughter and she just called me. Thank you for your help, I know where this house is," she said slamming the phone on the receiver.

Alicia was upset, how could anyone frighten her into thinking a ghost of some sort called her? That was ridiculous, this operator clearly didn't know anything about the woman who used to live there and through the possibility of another woman out the window. How stupid of her.

"Listen, call Rhea," Alicia swiftly handed Iolanthe a piece of paper with someone's number on it, "Please advise her that she is to meet us at the old Dejourné house and tell her we're leaving as soon as possible. I would do it but I am going to be taking my lunch break now,"

With that remark, Alicia walked out of the store and headed towards the nearby pizza parlor.

Iolanthe grimaced at the stories that raced through her heads of the gruesome murders that took place there. She sped out of the store to her flat for her own lunch break, planning to call Rhea a little bit later. "Cordy? You here?" Her flatmate wasn't there, but had left a fresh meal for her of buffalo wings and a soda. She gulped them down, and walked back to the store, a pack with the things she'd need for her stay at the house. About three blocks away, she pulled out her cell phone. "Rhea? This is Iolanthe, a coworker of Alicia; we're going to leave for North Hill as soon as possible. Umm, we're going to... the Dejourné house. And remember, we'll be staying there, so bring some clothes and stuff." she hung up and entering the store, lounging around as she waited for Alicia to come back.

Being on the road for so long, Jake leaned back in the comfortable drivers seat, planning on taking a rest. He had to admit he was rather surprised how a greedy man such as his father could live in a dump like this. He pondered on these, and other things, before slowly drifting off to sleep.

Illyne set off up the hill. She had barely gone several paces when her foot started to slide backwards on a large, slippery rock, and she had to reach out and grab some handfuls of long grass. She quivered there for a few seconds, as grass didn't usually serve as a strong hold, and then took a deep breath and heaved herself upwards, praying she wouldn't fall. She didn't.

The hill was steeper than it looked, and Clarissa's original dare of racing back down as fast as her legs could carry her would've certainly led to her shattering a couple of bones if she attempted it. The hill had been abandoned to grow whichever way it wanted for quite some years - the grass was long, the flowers grew in quite large patches that she was forced to trample over, the bushes were big and thick. It took her quite a few while, winding her way around such bits of chaparral and cautiously stepping out to test the ground's steadiness before she put her weight on it. Still, she slipped again another few times.

Alicia came back into the store, finishing her slice of pizza; she ran to the front of the desk to see if anyone left any messages on the phone.

"You have no new messages,"

"Alright, let's get going shall we Iolanthe?" asked Alicia as she began to salvage any cleaning equipment she could find, "It's going to be quite a while till we get there,"

Rhea bounced around the store, she had almost finished her shift, another person would be coming in soon to take over. Glancing at the clock again, Rhea grinned when she saw that it was only a few more minutes before her shift would be officially over. The phone rang, racing over to it Rhea picked it up and talked quickly to Iolanthe.

Just as she put the receiver down the bell on the store's door jingled. Rhea grinned and grabbed her bag before racing out of the store to her house.

15 minutes later and Rhea was nearly there. As soon as they arrived she jumped out her mum's car, bag slung over one shoulder, her other arm waving madly. "See ya soon!" she chirped.

Roz calmly strolled down the street with her head in some rather unpleasant rainclouds. She needed to find another job, or extra work, to cover this month's rent.

Suddenly, the smell of warm pizza fresh out of the oven filled her nostrils and made her stomach rumble with hunger. Stopping to enjoy the scent, her mind came back down to earth and she realized where she was.

With a grin, she pressed onward and came across the cleaning shop that her friends worked at. Opening the door she walked in and hoped that someone she knew was there, otherwise the people present might be wondering if she was there to be cleaned. Roz had just come off of a job and was still covered in a light layer of dirt, her knees especially.

Alice was having a difficult time trying to find a proper vacuum, she wanted her customer's to receive the best products (Perhaps even make an additional sale after the job is done). Alicia walked around the store numerous times and finally spotted a dark blue vacuum hidden beside a large shelf.

"I think I'll use you," she said walking to it and snatching the handle, carrying it towards the front of the store.

Suddenly a girl walked through the door, Alicia's face instantly lit up.

"Roz! What's up?"

Jake, after waking up from his short nap was doing a bit of driving himself. On his way back into the hick town he spotted the motorbike parked in a field, but decided to do nothing about it. As he drove on, strange noises began emitting from his car. At first he thought nothing of it, but the noises got louder and louder, and just wouldn't quit. He stopped the car, and noticed a puff of smoke coming from the hood. After creaking it open, he remembered that only his mechanic has knowledge of cars; Jake only knows how to drive them and operate the radio.

He climbed back in, cranked the keys, but the car just wouldn't start. Great, he thought, Stuck in the middle of nowhere, close to a creepy orphanage, and no one around but some weirdo on a bike.
