Speaking of that episode, Burns kinda dies seeing how they rush him to hospital where he's pronounced dead, the he was rushed to a better hospital and his status was "upgraded" to alive

Likewise Homer has been dead for short periods of time etc

Actually Marvin Monroe is still considered dead, even though he reapeared briefly in the past season (or was it in 15?). It was more of a joke put ion by the writes to cause comotion. Anyway,he has a tombstone that says something along the lines of "Yes he is really dead."

Hmm, the only episode I believe I remember him being in is when Marge publishes her book the Harpooned Heart.

Its not what they say on the BTS show, according to the Simpsons Episode Guide, it shopws $248.53 or something like that - its the monthly cost for raising a baby or something *vaguely remembers reading it somewhere*

Seeing how the episode aired again today in NZ (Rerun on Sky), Marvin Monroe reappears in the episode where Bart and Homer build a robot and Snowball II, Snowball III and Cobalt the cats all die (And Lisa is given Snowball V). He says "he just got sick".

Well, about this I think:

He insults them on TV in Taxi-cab conversations, but then they realize that he sacrifices a lot for them. He takes Lisa to the Olive Garden, doesn't turn Bart over when he does something I can't remember, and works in a job he hates so Marge can put food on the table and stay home with the kids.
