I'm reading one of Robert Fulghum's books... can't remember which one though (I just got out of class, and my brain is fried). I've had them for about a year or two, but it's the type of reading that never really gets old... it's almost like if George Carlin wrote a Chicken Soup for the Soul book.

Has anyone else here not read the Harry Potter books...

The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett. Much, much, much better than The Color of Magic in my opinion. I think I'm liking it more than Small Gods even. ^_^

A Mind of Its Own: A Cultural History of the smurf by David M Friedman.

it's really quite interesting and insightful. i'm trying to gain an understanding of how our society became so patriarchal, and this book helps a lot.

The Stranger - by Albert Camus
I'm reading the english version first, and it was translated from french by Matthew Ward.
It started off dull, but I'm beginning to find the man fascinating. I think I'll read it again when I'm done just to make sure I fully understand it. It's really short, so it won't take me too long, even if I am slow.

Hound of the Baskervilles, which started out in much the same way and with the same pacing that your average Holmes short story does, but I'm finally starting to see how it could be a novella.

It's a philosophy book... but it's discussing The Simpsons... quite interesting.
