Just to note, the song "Because Of You" will be her next single off her album "Breakaway",

The video for Kelly Clarkson's next single has been shot. "Because of You" was written by Kelly when was 16 years old and it tells the tale of how she lived in a broken home. An alcoholic and very verbally abusive father and a mother who did nothing to stop this because she was afraid.

The video features Dakota Fanning (War Of Worlds, Hide & Seek) as a young Kelly who goes through her fathers drunken escapades, and curling under her bed and in the closet when she witnesses her mother being physically and verbally assaulted. All the while, Kelly plays a sort of guardian angel screaming out the pain for young Kelly.

The video features a stunning ending that will not only leave you shocked, but praising Kelly for her seriousness as an artist.

That just sounds awesome. I love that song as I can actually relate to it at a emotional and personal level.

Edit: I believe the single will be released somewhere in December.

I, however, thought her first songs were a little crappy (Miss. Independent was borderline). But her new songs are awesome, very awesome change she went through.

I really like Kelly Clarkson. I'm not really a fan of most of her songs, though I bought both of her albums. But as I am a vocalist myself, I am totally in awe of her talent, she has an amazing voice! And she is very skilled at control and such. So I love listening to what she does and can do with her voice.

And she always seems to sing the story-of-my-life songs. Kinda funny. I still love "Beautiful Disaster" from her first album. I'm definitely a big lyrics person, so that's why I didn't like most of the songs on her first album (also, didn't like them much stylistically). Her second album is markedly better, I like some of her style changes and such, and I don't know about any of you but "Gone" gets stuck in my head like no other. Also, it is just fun to sing.

I think that's another reason I love Kelly Clarkson - her songs are ridiculously fun to sing along to! Especially whilst driving. But that's just my personal opinion .

Personally, I have found it quite amusing to see friends who initially scoffed at Kelly Clarkson completely addicted (usually thanks to "Since You've Been Gone"). Everyone has their own musical preferences, so I don't really care when people make fun of me for what kind of music I like. It is nice to see people recognizing Kelly Clarkson's talent and vocal skill even if they don't particularly like her style/music.

Let me say besides being amazingly talented and having awesome songs (Well from her second album anyways) she is one of the few "teenagers" which are actually talented. I've seen interviews with her and she's really humble, she seems really nice.

I read, though, that the "Dakota Fanning is in the BOY video" rumor is false. o_0

My favorite songs off the album besides the four singles out now are "Gone", "Addicted", and "Hear Me".

And the live version of "Beautiful Disaster" is perfectly gorgeous.

Edit: I just saw it on the internet (Thank you TRL) and I must say, it was a really nice video. I loved how the girl (Young Kelly) showed Kelly how she felt as a child and not to put her own child through the same thing. Very nice video.
