Yes, you heard me right. Ashlee Simpson is schedule to perform her single "Boyfriend" on SNL next week (Oct 8th). This performance is aimed to redeem herself as a singer and to actually prove she has talent.

---

I honestly don't mind her going back to perform again, it's actually brave but she shouldn't have lyp-synced in the first place.

Head, meet desk. *headdesk x 10*

I rarely have such harsh words to say, but her new single is an amazing showcase of how terrible a singer she is, not just live, but so bad that they can't pro-tool a recording to even make her sound remotely good. Whether or not she's singing, she sounds bad.

Joe Simpson needs to give up squeezing every last bit of money and fame from his daughters.

</end rant> Ugh.

I might watch it for Jon Heder, but I'll go sleep before the performances. :P

Gawd, I hate that song. I really can't understand why it's so popular... she's a horrible singer and it shows in the song.

I won't be watching.

Not just money, but exploiting his daughters in everyway imaginable. I've read a few quotes about him mentioning his daughter's... various physical attributes. The creep should be locked up.

I think the creepier thing about that is that he used to be a Methodist pastor or something. x_x

Jon Heder is worth watching due to the inevitable Napoleon Dynamite skit, but my finger will be poised over the mute button for Ashley's performance. She has absolutely no talent, which is the only way you can tell she's related to her sister, cause they don't look alike but they sure do suck at singing!

But they're from the DURTY SOUTH.
Or so they claimed at the VMAs. ;P

Can I agree with him? *points to Yoshi-San* Every single thing he said was what I was thinking. (Were we seperated at birth? :o)

They've talked about it elsewhere too. I'm so sick of them talking about being from the "dirty south". It's not dirty if you're filthy rich. (Oh irony)

Wow, the Simpson sisters really are amazing. The fact that Ashlee has she has the guts to go on this show and try again is great

Kinda like how if a giant moose is hit by a truck it will try to get up and head butt the truck until one of them dies.

Yeah.
