I wouldn't worry about it. I get that kind of thing all the time. A lot of my friends have BuddyProfiles, which log the the screen names of the people who view them, as you probably know. People often get my username from places like those, and they end up IMing me, for reasons unknown to me. Many of them never even tell me who they are at all, so I just block them. If someone is really bugging you like this, then do the same thing. You'll get used to it after a while, as it will probably happen more than once. Don't make a big deal out of it.

The way this guy/girl did I would have blocked them immediately. I, also wouldn't have told them my name, if only out of spite so they never get the information they seemed so interested in getting.

Having said that, I don't think you have anything to worry about, the person is obviously just inconsiderate. My suggestion? Block them and forget about it!

Hm, I don't think you should worry about it. It's happened to me lots of times. People can get screen names and e-mails from anywhere. Most likely they found it after finding some directory with people's interests on it.
