< first gives cookies to ^ to distract ^, then wonders who Mallorie Blackman is.

< eats the cookies, while explaining to ^ that Malorie Blackman is an (< thinks) English author, who is coming to visit <'s school.

< is reading her book to be prepared for it, and she made < cry because the book is really really sad.

< has not finished the book, but < read at the end because < knew what happened anyway, and it was so beautiful and sad and awesome that it made < cry in torrents.

Thusly, < is going to kill Malorie Blackman for her awesome a superb and yet really really sad ending to her awesomeistic book, which < is now reading properly.
