I honestly did think this dog was only being kept as a joke or what not, but you can tell the owner actually cares for the dog.

I feel so sorry for the owner's loss. Sam seemed like such a cool little guy. He was ugly. But most people could see past that.

Poor doggy. Yeah, I don't really care for dogs and he was pretty ugly, but the owner was obviously very devoted and loving. It's not what's on the outside that counts.

Wow! Sam was sure lucky to have an owner like that! Especially if he had a personality like Cujo at first.

Those pics of them together look...really "awwwww". He may be ugly...but he looked happy.
