Okay, so I'm remembering this song I heard, and its so annoying that its stuck in my head.... and... now ive grown a custom to it. So I must download it! Or buy it if I cant!

It's a christmas carol.. and I thought it was called "Sleigh Bells"... but whenever I find a song with that name.... its not the right song...

The first verse is SOMETHING LIKE:
As we go along together
Through the white and snowy weather
in our fur and furry leather
something something something.

yeah. I know that 3 of the rhyming words were together, weather, and leather.

Then, theres a sweet compilations of "jings" Basically, theres bases and tenors singing:

JingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJingJing
*just say jing 8 times really fast, and then change to a different pitch for another 8*

while girls are singing a high, one toned-robot like:

JING JING JING JING JING JING JING JING.....

okay... so... anybody have ANY idea what the heck this song is im looking for? Any help is much appriciated.... you can see how this wierd thing can get stuck in my head easily. Its driving me nuts. I have
JINGjingjingJINGjingjingJINGjingjingJINGjingjing[/b[JING[b]jingjingJING
stuck in my head allllll day. Ugh. HELP ME PLEASE!

I googled and something called "A Christmas Long Ago" by The Echelons came up. Not sure if that's the one you're looking for.

now i remember where I heard it.... the other school choir... that I WASNT in.... sang it one year. Then I heard it a couple times on the local radio station that plays 100000 christmas songs this time of year.

It wasnt anything you guys said... so... maybe Ill just keep searching :-/

It isnt sleight ride... no, it wasnt furry leather, now that I think of it, it was something like "dressed all warm in fur and leather" or something....

most definetely wasnt "waking in a winter wonderland."... id know that song. :)

What station? Maybe they have a website with their playlist online. That was if you hear it again, hop on the computer and see what they just played. :)

Um, I don't want to hijack the topic (I don't know the song I'm afraid :()... but the Wonder Weezel's question reminded me that I've been searching for a christmas song for aaaages. It'd be great if someone knows it!

I first heard it about 5+ years ago in England. So I suspect it might be an english christmas song (not a traditional carol)... it sounded english-y, hehe.

Basically, there's a line which goes something like "Wish - - - - for Christmas" ("Wish I - - - for Christmas"? "Wish it would - - for Christmas?") just before the chorus. The chorus is something along the lines of "ra-pa-pa-pa-pom-pom", repeated.

I remember it used to get stuck in my head, so I'd really like to hear it again one day :)

The first link is lyrics, and the second link has some midis of Christmas songs.

And Mazil, i think thats the Little Drummer Boy too, but don't quote me on that.

Ah, I thought the "ra-pa-pom-pom"s might send people on that track... no, it's a more modern song, I think. Thanks though :)

Maybe it's "da-da-da-da-dum-dum"? ("... da-da-dum-dum, da-da-dum, da-da-da-da-dum!") *gets carried away*

I know A LOT of christmas carols... and as I said before.... thanks, but I know for a FACT it isnt Winter Wonderland... .I know that song all too well!

Cyanna, thats a very good idea, but it doesnt work unfortunately, because its an oldies station that plays 60's and 70's all year EXCEPT for this one month period where they play 1000's of Christmas songs from any period of time. Its its christmasy, they play it. theres no real play list :(

Mazil.... feel free :) i know how you feel "taking advantage of another thread" or whatever you said... but i dont mind, really :) Im glad i could bring up the subject. I love it when forums can help with things like this... thats why i look around for other topics, incase somebody like you wants help!

I spent nearly 2 hours looking for the songs (TWW & Mazil's) and came up blank. But the thing is, at least TWW's sounds REALLY familiar and I just can't figure out what it is. I think I sang it one year for Choir, but given that was my freshman year of high school (1995), there's no way I can remember it. I'll keep my ears open though!

Okay, I think I heard it again on an intercom!

it heard it go like this:

As we go along together
wearing coats of fur and leather
*something* in the snowy weather

sleighbells jing a ling.

jing jing, a jing jing

as we go along together
wearing coats of fur and leather
*something* in the snowy weather
sleighbells jing a ling.

Jingjingjingjingjingjingjingjing JING JING JING JING JING JIGN JING JING JING JING JING JING JING JIGN *etc etc......................*

and then theres other verses that has a rhyme scheme with "iver"
something and down by the river
something something and we shiver
birds are something something beaming as we hear the call... jing jing, a jing jing
something and down by the river
something something and we shiver
birds are something something beaming as we hear the call... jing jing, a jing jing

jingjingjingjingjingjingjingjingjingjing *etc....*

yeah. God i want to know what this song is.
