For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

3 chips on under 10.

Sun Jan 15, 2006 12:27 am

I would like to bet 10 chips on -7) > 10 (3:2)
And would anyone want to explain the ratio when it goes like "3:2" or like "9:3", I mean I get it if it's like "5:1" but I never got when the 2nd term was a term greater than 1.

You haven't missed much ..

By the way I have a question - if somebody has a posting requirement, should it be assumed that they are evil? Or is there another reason that everyone screams "posting requirement!!" everytime they think they see one :P

I think it just gives clues to they're roles. Or it could just be totally random to throw us off.

-remember Dyl's role from last game-

Posting requirement does not equal evil. I've had posting requirements in past games and I was actually frighteningly good.

The reason people yell "POSTING REQUIREMENTS AAAAH" is because they can't find another reason to execute so they make up a stupid one.

Not necessarily. Posting requirements aren't always evil, but probably most of the time they are. You can't throw away the idea of a person being bad just because posting requirements don't always mean bad, as they can often lead straight to an evil player. :P

Sometimes it isn't worth taking the chance.

A loud bang is heard in the middle of day. Followed by a thud. Scott quickly rushes over to the west edge of the island, to see the body of BLK MAGE lying face up, with a fishing pole in his hand.

"Well. apparently it looks like a Mafia member decided to take him out during the day... definitely not a pretty sight."

A set of large wings momentarily appear behind Blk Mage and fades away.
"Even more bad news... that's definitely the sign of an Archangel... Pretty unlucky, since he did have some shield. Didn't protect him this time unfortunately."

- TDG, your math on the poll is correct! Nothing wrong is going on witht he stats :)
- Xil, Yar... econ be fun. :P
- DM you needed to put how many chips to bet.
- All bettings are completely optional! You do not have to do them. No reward/punishment for doing/notdoing them.
- BlkMage, as explained before, N is your bet, (A:B) is the reward payout. Its basically a way to keep decimals from appearing. If you win, the payout is N*A/B.
