I get motion sickness, so I'd never ride that roller coaster. I've never even rode on anything that has gone upside down yet. :P My one best friend would probably do anything to get a chance to ride a roller coaster like that, though. She'll get on just about anything at an amusement park.

I so need to go to Cedar Point. Pity I live in England. I've got a theme park called Drayton Manor on my doorstep but their rides are nothing compared to the one on this thread!

The best rollercoasters I've been on look like child's play when positioned side by side with that.

If that thing was wooden, it would be a death trap. I hate wooden coasters.

I do, however, make an exception for Thunderation.

*Bonus points to anyone who knows what Thunderation is!*

Yeah I rode a wooden coaster and afterwards I started to cry because I had whiplash and felt really sick. I'll never ride a wooden one again, it was just too jarring. I have ridden a metal coaster that was very smooth and was also very fast. It went upside down and wasn't nearly as high as this thing. But anyway it all happened so fast I didn't really have time to be scared. That and I closed my eyes. But still, I'd definately have to wear a diaper to ride that one.

This is me (the one on the lower right) on a roller coaster that is definitely wimpy compared to that one (pic's from the West Edmonton Mall's Galaxyland, band trip last year).

In that one, I was quite scared that my glasses would fly off.

D'you think I'd attempt one so high up? XD

*cracks up at last picture*

I wouldn't. I don't like going up and dropping down fast XD

Gone, forever.

Rollercoasters freak me out. I'm to the point where I'll go on the wimpy/kiddie coasters without hyperventilating, but I really would not ride that.

Looks like it'd be a lot of fun to watch, though.

Woo, Cedar Point!

Despite my acrophobia, I'll go on the occasional roller coaster. It depends how long it takes to get up the first hill. I wouldn't mind it if I'm not that high up for a long time.

Um, no.

No more rollercoasters for Jen after Top Gun. Its not the fear, its the pain. It gave me a minor concussion and I popped my finger out of joint. It wasn't very pleasent, so I won't go on anything bigger than a merry go round.

Seeing as there is documentation of people losing control of their digestive system over this ride, I doubt I'd survive it.

Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure is bigger by about 36 feet (just opened this summer but was closed for a good part of it). Same idea though.

....I always said I'd go on any amusement park ride with a seat belt. I've been on Stormrunner at Hershey, which is a mini version of this and that was amazing. I can only imagine what this would be like.

The only time I ever rode a roller coaster was in Louisiana. This guy behind me spent the whole time yelling about how he needed to take a "sammich poo", so that was pretty miserable. I'd like to go on another one, though. Too bad they closed down Astroworld...
