The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Well... I didn't particularly like this episode.
Mainly b/c I can't stand Charlie and this episode.. although it did make me feel sorry for him a little bit... it in the end just made me hate him even more.
I swear.. WTH did he think was going to happen after he lied and lied and then lied some more??
I'm so happy that Locke beat the living snot out of the little turd. After Locke had given him the benefit of the doubt before.. Charlie just blows it all to crap when he lied to him.
I'm a bit confused with Charlie's whole dream though. Now.. exactly what was the point in getting them baptized? And why was his mother also in the dream?
I dunno.. this whole episode just wasn't very good. Usually there's some sort of conclusion in the end.. and there just wasn't one....
I will say though... I thoroughly enjoyed the whole Sawyer, Hurley, Libby thing.
Also enjoyed it when Sawyer was teasing Kate about Jack and Ana. So so great.
And yeah.... the previews for next week look awesome.
I hope they rescue Sun! She's an awesome sweet char!

Stuff about the next episode (which is NOT airing next week, it's rerun time again)...skip over if you don't want to know.
According to the press release, it's a failed kidnapping on Sun (thank goodness, Sun/Jin's plot is my favourite). Also, Sawyer is amused, sits back, and watches when Jack, Locke, Ana-Lucia, and Kate get into a bit of a fight.
Anyway, this episode...I agree, it left me unsettled. Well, Charlie and the band in diapers left me unsettled enough, but I mean the ending made it seem like nothing was resolved.
And why didn't Locke destroy the drugs? (As someone on the Lost LJ community put it, he "Locked" them away. >_>)

*shrug* Heroin is refined from morphine. Maybe he's saving them in case someone else gets smushed by a plane and needs big-time pain killers.
Ana earned much love from me this episode for asking Jack if he's "hittin that".
And even though I was kind of like "Er...

" about the whole baptism thing, the scene with Claire and Aaron getting baptized was kind of touching.
I'm angry that we're not getting a new episode until the week after next. They were just on hiatus for 6 damn weeks, what the heck do they need another week off for?? *grumble*

Locke was a total *bleep*. I can understand him being mad at Charlie, but what he did was just as bad. Attacking Charlie while he was trying to apologize is as bad as lying in my book. He tries making himself out to 'good and holy' guy, the big moral authority, but whatever happened to 'Turn the other cheek?' That is where Locke and Eko-sama will split. Eko has the cleaner, truer view of the moral right and all its twists and turns. Locke is too absolutist and just keeps losing points in my book. At least Jack is such a good guy and was nice to poor, little Charlie.
I am certain the 'hit that' phrase was the first time my dad heard that phrase. Too funny.
Hurley was fun in this episode. Him and Eko are the two most relatable characters for me. I hope we get more of them.
PS: Locke was a *bleep* just in case you missed it the first time.

That was wierd.
Piano in the water? Wasn't there a piano in the water like the very first episode? Or has Charlie had a deam about it before?
I think its almost time for a Sawyer hero moment, haven't had one of them in a while... Although that was very cute, HEY LIBBY!
Edit: Heh. Found this floating around the internet, thought some people might find it amusing.

Personally, I'm glad Charlie got what was coming to him. I was kind of hoping for a while that he'd get Shannon'd, but this is just as good. Maybe mow he'll learn his lesson and become an upstanding member of the island community? Also, I think Libby might play a more important role later on, and the Hurley thing will be their way of introducing her. Luckily, it looks like we'll be getting more real answers in the next episode.

Yay.. someone else who's glad Charlie got smacked around!!
What Locke did was totally understandable in my book.
He's getting closer to Claire and the baby.. probably more as a father figure (least I hope so)...So he's very protective of them... AND he was lied to on numerous occasions by Charlie.
Charlie got what his little stank butt deserved.
What I'm curious about is Hurley asking Libby if they've met before. That got me really interested. All this Hurley action.. I'm hoping we're going to be seeing another episode dedicated to him soon explaining why he was in a mental institution where I think is where he's met Libby before.

I was kinda disappointed about the lack of a new episode, however, I think there's a reason they showed us this one. I'll bet we'll hear from Rousseau in the next episode, or find out about Hurley's numbers, or maybe (hope, hope) why Hurley was in the crazy house in the first place.

Someone also suggested they showed Numbers again because that was the first episode where there was more Claire/Locke interaction.
Either way, I'd prefer they went straight to a new episode
Season 2 started in Australia last night, though. It's fun to watch it and snicker when the rest of my family come up with possibilities (eg. the hatch was a flashback), when I know what really happens.

Do you watch the episodes over the internet?

Uh oh!
I just read that Michelle Rodriguez's char Ana-Lucia most probably will end up getting killed.
I like the char but from what I understand... the actual woman sucks. How stupid.. ruining your career on a hit tv show just for a drink.. or just b/c your a butthead. *sigh*
Some people....... sucks that a strong female char is going to be killed but well... that's how things go I guess.
All of the AL haters will be happy when that day comes if these rumors are true.
And I was also wondering why they showed Numbers again. It was great seeing Hurley episode again... but made me curious why they chose that one.
As someone else said.. maybe it's b/c they are going to be bringing bak the French woman.... or uhm.. some other reason

heh

As much as I dislike Ana-Lucia, killing her off would potentially veer the storyline into different territory than the writers originally planned. And that to me is not a good thing, since this show seems to meticulously planned. After all, I read in an interview with the writers that they wanted to make people start to like her character later on after many episodes, and I was quite hoping to see how they would make her redeem herself.
Also, since she's going to the forest with Jack and training him in her policing gun-happy ways, killing her off might take an abrupt end to that.
But still...this stuff is just a rumour. Not surprising if it'll happen, but still, it's unconfirmed.

Yep, I download them
I thought that there was going to be a Kate/Jack/Ana-Lucia/Sawyer love square.. so killing her off would kinda ruin that. And seeing a few catfights between Kate and Ana-Lucia would be rather amusing.

Oh. My. Goodness. (Don't read past if you haven't watched yet. :P)
I now hate Charlie and Sawyer (both for the Sun incident, and more for Sawyer cause of him conning Cassidy). GAAAH. They better redeem themselves sometime soon, cause they're supposed to be great characters! >_< At least Charlie didn't take the statue, and at least Sawyer ended the annoying tyranny of Jack and Locke. Okay, so that redeems Sawyer a bit in my opinion, but definitely not Charlie.
Regardless of that, still an excellent episode. Better than last week's.
I'm still wondering what Sun and Jin were talking to each other about. I'll have to ask my Korean friend tomorrow to see if he got it.
Anyway, next week's previews look good. They're actually letting the hatch go to 0, for real this time! *squee*

Even though Sawyer did some pretty crappy things this episode... I can't hate him.
I hated him at the beginning of Lost, but he grew on me and well... I just can't hate him anymore.
Yeah he tricked alot of people.. including Kate which is a BIG plus in my book.....he only does it b/c well.. he thinks he has to or something. I dunno.. he's strange.
Dr. Phil needs to crash on the island next so he can help him

heh
But Charlie...... UUUGH....... now him.. I just hate him even more now. Wnting to humiliate Locke? How PATHETIC. And what he did to poor Sun... tsk tsk on him... I hope he gets smacked around some more cause the little turd deserves it.
You know all of the extreme Lost fantatics are going crazy over what Hurley said.. the time comment. Can't remember exactly what it was.
I bet the writers just put that in there for the fans heh.
Aaand yeah.... next week's episode looks awesome!!! I can't wait to see what happens when that counter gets to 0... OOOOOOO I can't wait!!! Me and my bf just sorta gasped and stared at eachother when they showed that on the previews.
