We apologize for the candiates' absence, but can assure the public what they are doing is of the utmost importance, not only to themselves, but to the future of humanity.
Certain nominees, not offical candidates, have been talking about changing the past for the better. Such technologies are out there. Light invented such technologies back in his days at Los Alamos. Such technologies are barely the tip of the iceburg and highly classified. Merely mentioning them is equal to treason.
Also, other nominees have mentioned using the great Chuck Norris' awesome powers to harm others. As Chuck Norris' former sensai, DM assures me that she trained him for good and not evil. Comments from Norris-sama himself have corroborated this statement.

I never said he wasn't. Norris-sama is friend to all and enemy to the wrong-doers.
Norris-sama is not a spokesperson. He is a valued ally of DM and Light in their fight to end world hunger and save the rain forest. He appeared with his allies to address the concern that he would kick people's heads off for pleasure like a certain nominee implied. According to contacts with the Chuck Norris for a Healthy and Safe Tomorrow campaing, Norris-sama apologizes for spending too much time helping DM and Light in their quest to cure cancer in all its forms, but he can not appear in person until said quest is over. Until then, authorized facsimlies are available for public appearences.

The DM-Light 06 Campiagn has no records of DM being a "video-pirate". DM stands for Peace, Equaility, Democracy, and PPT. If you want someone to stand up for you in PPT, vote DM-Light 2006. We respect and wish all our opponents good luck, during this campaign no matter who wins. Vote DM!
