Spirited Away- I missed the first 20 minutes or so, but... Holy. Guacamole. The animation was stunning, and the story... I wish Disney did stories like this. It was like Alice in Wonderland on... some illegal substance. :P Some parts of the plot went by really fast (or were resolved quicker than I would have liked), but I have to cut it slack: it was already over 2 hours long, which is pretty long for a children's animated feature. Actually, I'm not entirely sure it was meant to be a kid's movie. Frankly, I don't care, because it kept me entertained, and in the end, that's all that really matters. :P

Now I'll have to keep my eyes out for Howl's Moving Castle. <3

If you don't fall in love with Howl during the first 5 minutes, there's something VERY wrong with you. -drool-

Unleashed - This was a very good movie. A bit violent, but I think the violence was necessary to the storyline, and it wasn't glorified at all. The whole story was incredibly touching, it had me in tears near the end. If you like action/mystery-type movies, I would definately recommend this one.

Fun with smurf and Jane.

Why did no one else get the Enron refference in the entire cinema.
Why did I have to explain it.
Why did they not find it funny afterwards.

And they call themselves geeks. ¬_¬

Edit:
Brrrr, forgot the review didnt I.

Great film, might try and get my Girlfriend to see it with me.

I've not read throught the whole thread, so I'm guessing this is the last film you saw and not the last one you went to the movies for?

Anyway, I just watched Mean Girls.
It was better than I thought it was going to be. A couple of nice touches that made me laugh. I'm not a big Lindsay Lohan fan, but it could have been worse.

Yup; it's any movie you just recently saw (Old or new).

Bride and Prejudice
Good film! I thought it was really funny at parts...but not sure that it was meant to be! ;) It was still good, even if there were some really bad songs in there.
And I am *so* envious of pretty Indian actresses!

Edit: Oh, and I really really want a sari!!!!

CRASH SO sad and so emotional! I was crying so much! All the people were fighting and then the little girl was like dead. And then she was alright and then the black dude died because of racism. and then iranians were just normal paranoid people but people just grouped them as arabs and trashed their store because of 9/11. Such a good movie.

Actually, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikak--Spirited Away, really isn't a "kid's movie". It's supposed to appeal for all ages. :)

Serenity - This movie was VERY good. The special effects were absolutely incredible, and the whole plotline was very well thought out. I loved the mix of space age/Asian stuff alongside the sort of pirate-y dialogue, it blended very well. When I think about it, this movie had everything! smurf martial arts, swearing in Chinese, pirates, shooting, conspiracy...It's like one of my roleplays x)

I figured as much. I was thrown off a bit because I caught the airing on Cartoon Network during their usual "Friday evening kid block."

We need more animated movies that appeal to a wider age range.

Holes.
Heh heh, a great non-animated Disney movie! Actually I thought it was really funny, and the boy that played Zero was sooo cute! ^.^
It had a great plot and I loved the flashback sequences and how they all make sense at the end. It was actually quite a complicated plot - and based on a Louis Sachar book how could I not be dissapointed?
I really enjoyed this film.:D

The Last Super. No, it's not a Bibical film. It's about liberals having conseratives over for dinner and killing them. Uhhh... yeah.
