Did the man think that he had something(parachute, big trampoline at the bottum) that he thought was going to save him?

No.

If I used a scafold and raised the man to the same hight from which he jumped. Would he have jumped off the scafold? Would he have died if he jumped off the scafold? What if I used another building in the same town(but not the one that he jumped from)? Was there something about the day he jumped, or was it just any other day? Was there something about the time which he jumped or was it just any other time? Was he wearing something important, or just normal clothes?

had the dirt been softened before he jumped in some way (like water)?
Did he steal valuables from buildings then destroy them?
Was he trying to escape from a policeman/sherrif/other legal figure on the same lines?

Okay, so far we know the man is possibly in another dimension. He would've been killed even if he didn't jump, but the crowd wouldn't have cheered.

Did the crowd know he was going to die if the man didn't jump?

Sun Feb 12, 2006 5:34 am

Was he going to die anyway, even if he didn't jump?

Was he marked for death in any way?

Did anyone want to kill him?

If not, were they too afraid to kill him?

Were the people afraid of him in general?

What was his last meal before jumping?

Did he drink albatross soup, realize the other people on the island had fed him a person, not albatross, and then kill himself after realizing the soup and the meat he ate on the island didn't taste the same?

Not technically, no.

Yes.

What was his last meal before jumping?

Steak.

YOU GOT IT!

...no. You didn't. And besides, you can't drink soup.

So the crowd knows the man is going to die. If the man jumped and died, they wouldn't have cheered. If he jumped, they cheer.

The reason they cheer would be related to the jumping.

Aside from making a big mess, was anything affected because the man jumped? (aside from crowd cheering)

Did the guy/gal who wanted to kill the man know him (as a relative/ friend/ enemy, not just the 'I know Britney Spears' sort of know)?

Would he have done it if the man didn't jump?

Are there more than one person who wanted to kill the man?

Just watch me :x

Was the man in the government?

Did he work for anyone else besides the government?

Had the man ever killed anyone?

If so, was the person/people loved by the crowd? Famous, maybe?

Did the man believe he would profit from jumping off the building?

Is the location of the scene relevant? (What I mean is, does it matter if it is in another dimension, on the moon, or something?)

The last statement isn't necessarily 100% true in all instances.

The reason they cheer would be related to the jumping.

Correct.

Possibly. Depends.

Would he have done it if the man didn't jump?

Would who have done what?

Was he going to be slowly and painfully killed if he hadn't jumped?
Was he suspected of being something more than he was for example a witch or the like?
Was he a pirate?

Killed him.

-----------------------------------

Anything to do with insurance?

Does the crowd hate him?

Does the crowd affect anything?

Anything to do with sport?

Let me word this again. Would the person who wanted to kill the man killed the man if the man hadn't jumped off the building?
