We usually do coin drops for my club, but we collect AFTER lunches. That way, people just empty their pockets instead of worrying if they'll have enough for a soda. :3

I'm an expert at this :D We have charity weeks every year.

Sweet Stalls - A HUGE earner
Sponge a teacher/student - get a spong and people pay to throw at a person.
A charity show - a show with people performing, waxing boys, teachers singing
A basketball/soccer competition - groups of 4/5 compete for a grand prize of £10 or whatever. Make it a knockout competition. £1 per person or more/less.

Can't think of anymore right know will add later

A sweet stall sells sweets. Gobstoppers, liquorice, haribo, sherbert, Marshmallows. You know... It works really well in our school. Charge them at a reasonable price.

Something like 10p (10cents? per sherbert stick) Look around at nearby shops and look at what their prices are.

I tihnk i know where the misunderstanding was, if you live in america it should be "candy" stalls. lol.

naap australia, just wanted an explanation.

I dont know if we'd be certainly allowed to do that, re-selling products smurf off the canteen ladies and i think might be against the rules

Maybe if i baked cupcakes and cookies and stuff? d'ya reckon people might buy (nice) reasonable priced baked goods?

Ooh, a candy sale is a good idea. They have those at my school all the time.

I normally contribute at least 20$ ^^

Okay, I need ideas for theme dress day. We did jungle last year, one suggestion for this year is Super Hero (which I think is TOTALLY AWESOME). Can you guys suggest something?

It cant be too... provocative. Some of the nice girlies at are school aren't exactly proper, and would take advantage of such theme :P

How would you make money with that, though?

When I was in intermediate school, we had to wear uniforms. However, this one group of kids got the principal to let them sell pink ribbons for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The ribbons were $1 each ( though everyone contributed more) and people who wore them got to wear what they wanted that day. It was a cool idea, and they made a LOT of money.

Thats basically what we'd do, everyone has to spend the first 15 minutes of the day at registration, so we'd get councilors or whatever to go around with stamps or stickers and if you were in Theme dress you have to pay a gold coin and you'd get a sticker/stamp. If you didn't pay, we'd write down your name and track you up and get the money eventually.
