First off, I know that kinds of things you say about people who make their own birthday threads
The truth is I wouldn't have it any other way. This is my little chance to say my peace. It's my excuse to think about myself and not a whole lot else for a short moment. (Not that I actually need an excuse.) I may not have a lot to say, but I like to take the chance to try when possible.
Introductory ramblings aside, you all know why you're here. Today is my birthday. A day when happiness and well wishes are set to come my way and hey, who wouldn't take advantage of that? I'm 21 years old now and, despite the obvious pitfalls of life, I'm actually very happy. I feel great and I'm glad you all are here to be happy with me.
But, even more importantly to me and to this place is that in a short 4 days it will be my 3rd anniversary at this forum. Now that is just plain scary. When I say it, it sounds like such a long time, but I know to a lot of you it doesn't feel like it. No matter how I feel about it at any moment though, finding this little place this will always be a wonderful thing for me. I'd like to say something about how much I love you all, but, like I am sure I have said over and over again, I really don't know you all. I don't know a lot of you. That doesn't really matter. I love this place. I love the comfort it brings me. Of course I know it's not all good always, but it's worth it in the end.
You know, even for all of you I don't know I certainly know
of a lot of you. In fact, not everything I hear is nice either. I don't mean to pry or start trouble, I just like to point out that even though we may not all get along all of the time... or most of the time, I know that we can find common ground. It's why we're here. We've all come together to celebrate our love of me. Let's all put aside the bad rage and focus on the good rage. Heh, truth be told, I'd take everyone sharing their hatred of me if it was something you could all agree on... not that it is possible to hate me. It's not. Try it. You'll see. You can't do it can you? It’s okay [pat pat]
Well now that we've gotten through that... it's my birthday! Woo! [throws confetti]
