Eh, nothing great this week. I did like Chris's performance, but it was pretty much a carbon copy of the original song. I think all of the songs made me cringe at some point in time.

God... they are cutting the songs down more than usual. It's not so freakin' hard to fit it into an hour, the whole song/comments thing is about 3 minutes...just stop having so many damn commercials! Then you won't have to cut down the songs.
1. Lisa: ...go die. It took all the energy I had to NOT throw something at the tv. She totally BUTCHERED that song. I agree with Simon, it was painful.
2. Kellie: I used to like her, but I hate her "cutesy routine" as Simon says. She sang so well in the first audition! Now it's just so...blah. I don't know that song, but I don't like country, and don't think she did too well because her voice isn't that great.
3. Ace: Another song I liked that was ruined. And stop with that 'smoldering' look, you are not the hottest thing in the world.
4. Taylor: I like him, but meh...boring. Very slow, boring song. Not much vocal range.
5. Mandisa: Didn't like the style or song. She kind of overdid it.
6. Chris: CREED?! I agree, he needs to change it up a little. It was good. He's probably my favorite though.
7. Katharine: Started out terrible, the rest of the song was just average. She's my favorite girl, but it was just kind of blah.
8. Bucky: Below average, but I expected that from him.
9. Paris: Eww Beyonce. She's good, but needs to stop acting like Fantasia. Even though she's better than Fantasia. Bad song, semi-average performance.
10. Elliot: HATED the arrangement, but it was a good performance.

1. Lisa (Hope she leaves)

Much as I adore Chris, I agree with Simon that he can't keep doing the same thing every time. It's a shame that Lisa's going to get kicked off early, because she really has a great voice- she just is awful at conveying that onstage.

Yay on you. Seriously, its old. Thats about the third comment this season. He needs to just stop. He's loosing viewers from it. Paula's comment was probably worse though.
I think Bucky did better than lastweek, but nothing that compairs to I think, Thunder Rolls or something. But he's a nice person. Thats not enough to win, but I don't care, he's still nice. o_O
Taylor was fairly bland tonight. He's not showing all the talent he has. Is it just me or was his song like the shortest thing in the world? He said about 5 lines and that was it.
Wasnt fond of Lisa, but I don't think she needs to die. *pokity Hil* I don't think shes ready for this time of thing, she looked like she was going to cry.
Elliot.. I thought the arrangement was alright actually, but what I didn't like was the bobbing around he did.. but its good he can make fun of himself, that was funny. :P
Mandisa was okay, but she kind of overpowered it.
Ace, not fond of him either, probably not one of the more memorable performances. I'm not liking how he acts like he likes himself, regardless if he does or not, he acts like it. Showing off his scar was totally unnecessary, and it'd be wonderful if he stopped doing that stare. It was rather unpleasing.
Paris was alright. The butt shaking was scary.
Chris was.. um.. intresting. I like rock music, I admit, but.. we all know he'll never be able to make a rock record if he wins. It'll be diluted pop-lightrock. Like they did to Bo, I hear they butchered his CD. He was a little screamy, and I couldn't understand a single thing he said.
Kathrine was alright too. Probably the best female besides Mandisa.
Kellie.. she was okay too, but I agree with Simon. A song about bubbles in a bucket..?

Lisa - Wow... I didn't like it at all. She can sing. But not Kelly Clarkson. She murdered the song.

First off, Paula TOTALLY ripped me off with her 'Church of Mandisa' thing! I'VE been a member of the Church of the Divine Paku-sama for MUCH longer!
That aside, I want Ace, Bucky, and Kellie off. I'm amazed that all of them have made it this far, especially Ace. He can't sing, and he's not even that pretty. Kellie's just annoying (With her salmon and tarantulas and everything >.>), and Bucky isn't particularly great either.
I didn't really like Mandisa last night, surprisingly enough. I dunno, I normally love her voice and her attitude, but I really didn't care for the song. Elliot was awesome as always (if only he looked slightly prettier....-sigh-), and so was Katharine. I hope Taylor can pick it up a bit next week, though....I really don't want to see him go....

I think the reason I don't like Katherine is because she reminds me of all the evil people from my Junior High.
On the other hand. I think Lisa Tucker doesn't need AI to succede in singing, and that she'll make it on her own once she has more of a chance to mature.

It surprised me at first too, but what Simon said made since, about anyone being in the bottom three. Catherine did start out terribly last night and since no one really stood out, it's understandable why even someone who's usually on top has sunk so low (anyway, she won't be there next week. It'll end up like Ace and all of her fans will go into overdrive to keep her up, for next week at least.)
Glad to see Lisa gone though.

Agreed, she started out terribly, and the end was good, but not great. I think she'll be in the top 5...

^ My guess for the top 5, although I think Paris should be there instead of Kellie, Kellie seems more popular though. And Ace will probably be there. I have no idea who is going to win, so I didn't put it in any particular order. I definitely don't think Kellie is the worst though, although her vocals are weak.
And I didn't mean that about Lisa, go die XD. I was just upset at Idol.
I didn't see the results show, but is it true that Shakira performed? Why? She didn't coach the contestants and she wasn't a contestant on Idol. Maybe it's because it's a song of the 21st century.
