Well my name is Tasha and supposedly it's Greek and it means Christmas.

My middle name, some Punjabi thing I have no idea how to spell, means princess.

Therefore...Christmas Princess!

First Name - Alexandria: Feminine form of ALEXANDER. This is the name of a city in Egypt which was founded by Alexander the Great.

Middle Name - Faith: Simply means "faith" from the English word, ultimately from Latin fidere "to trust". This was one of the virtue names favoured by the Puritans.

:)

Rachel means "ewe." I don't even like sheep, but at least sheep go to heaven.

Alysha, means "truth, noble", according to here. Which is nice to know, because every other time I've looked it up, it has no meaning, it's just a variant of something else. Hurray?

My name is too ethnic to be found on those websites. It means "crimson clouds" in Chinese. And for those of you who speak Chinese, no, it's not the words you're thinking. The ones in my name are much less used in common speach: 彤雯

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

Probably first used in J. M. Barrie's play 'Peter Pan' in 1904. It was from the nickname fwendy "friend", given to the author by a young friend. However, there is some evidence that the name may have been used prior to the play, in which case it could be related to the Welsh name GWENDOLEN or other names beginning with gwen meaning "white, fair, blessed".

I don't know about the blessed part :P

How exciting.

Well, my name is Stuart James, and Stuart means 'Steward' and all it says about the name 'James' is that 2 apostles used the name, and that several Scottish & English kings have had the name.

So I'm a Saintly Scottish King's Steward.

Kathryn (derived from Katherine...I hate that spelling, and I hate being called Kathryn :P )

Quote:
From the Greek name Αικατερινη (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘Εκατερινη (Hekaterine), which came from ‘εκατερος (Hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans associated it with Greek καθαρος (katharos) "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this. The name belonged to a 4th-century saint and martyr from Alexandria who was tortured on the famous Catherine wheel. Another saint by this name was Catherine of Siena, a 14th-century mystic. This name was also borne by two empresses of Russia, including Catherine the Great, and by three of Henry VIII's wives.

Interesting o_O

Middle name: Leigh

Quote:
From a surname derived from Old English leah or Middle English legh, which mean "meadow".
