The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

I loved the nerds! I was definitely hoping this would be a non-elimination leg.

I really did like the "Hippies" at the beginning but they are becoming a bit annoying. I don't really know WHO I want to win now.

Whoa! Big tossup today indeed. Spoiler alert.

So Eric and Jeremy won again, big whoop. What a waste of a fast forward, usually those totally mix things up. But finally, a new top 2! And Ray and Yolanda almost got in! BJ and Tyler are gonna have a lot of catching up to do. They may be my favourites, but I'm really really glad that there's hope for this season to not be so bland.

You know, I don't really get why Phil didn't just let them check into the mat as 5th then tell them their penalty would affect them 12 hours later. Lake and Michelle also would've gotten the penalty, so they would've been last anyway. But yay, they're gone!

Anyway, anyone here remember Carissa Gaghan from last season? You know, that 9-year-old girl? Well, she's 10 now, and she's writing columns about each episode. They're really funny- mostly unintentional humour, cause of her age.

*headdesk*

PHIL, USE THE STUPID NON-ELIMINATION LEGS.

:@

We're going to get a WHOLE MONTH of no one getting eliminated if this is kept up.

Ooh, the episodes just keep getting better now that the top 2 is changing. :D

I'm glad the race has really finally broken BJ and Tyler, cause it can't all be that enjoyable. I did feel quite sorry for them (especially BJ, of course) on that roadblock. Very glad it was a non-elimination leg, because they do deserve a chance after that roadblock. Only wish it happened with the Gaghan family last season, who were in the same circumstance.

I'm also reaaaaally happy that Eric and Jeremy are finally out of the top two. I hope they get lost some more, but I have this sinking feeling that their luck will continue and they'll shoot back up to first.

Speaking of getting lost, it's nice that the race is getting back to several-hundred-kilometre drives to the pit stop. Makes things a little less predictable, like how Joseph and Monica ended up in second. Hey, I don't like any of the top three teams, but I'm still glad there's change in the game.

I'm glad it was Fran and Barry in first and not Monica and Joseph. Fran and Barry are my second favorites after BJ and Tyler. I was very glad it was a non-elimination leg once frat boys came in 4th. It annoys me when the second place team looks so glum that they are second. Come one it's not like it's the final leg when 1st actually matters, except for the thrilling trips the first place teams have been getting. I just wanted Ray to tell Yolanda he was sorry so she would shut up already.

Ah darn I was hoping MoJo would go. they bug me to no end. Fran and Barry got on my nerves a little, but I think all in all I liked them. MoJo I hate. And I'm not too enthusiastic about Eric and Jeremy or Ray and Yolanda. I hope BJ and Tyler win. I wish the nerds hadn't gone though. As a fellow nerd, they were of course one of my favorites :)

Wow, major bunching this week. But yay for Ray and Yolanda!

All the other teams have just gone down a level in my book. Totally playing around with each other's minds...although I loved the pit stop foot race. BJ made a HUGE mistake with those rocks, and it's gonna pay- he's not gonna have shoes or proper pants for at least the next leg!

I kinda wonder...if Tyler had seen that they were last and told BJ to stop a split second before he stepped on the mat, maybe they could've ran to the car and grabbed everything. Hmm.

I do love how at this point, the only team who hasn't won a leg is Joseph and Monica. I hope they keep thinking about it and that it messes them up, because they're even more annoying than Eric and Jeremy now, in my opinion.

I dunno... they might have to let him get his shoes because otherwise he wouldn't be allowed into public buildings.
I'm just really glad it was non-elimination. While I do admit that the whole thing about trying to get MoJo and Eric and Jeremy to hate each other was kind of low, it wasn't as bad as cancelling the other teams taxis, and I still hate MoJo most of all(of the remaining teams I mean).

Thu May 11, 2006 3:55 am

Aw, Eric/Jeremy and Ray/Yolanda made the hippies get the easy way out. I was hoping to see how BJ would fare without pants or shoes for more than just the first five minutes.

Eww a whole bowl of bugs! I can't even eat a whole bowl, that size, of anything. Anyway, yay for MoJo being eliminated. Couldn't stand them the last few episodes.

Oooh down to the finale now! Tyler back in Japan...I wonder if he'll find some of his fans there.

GOGO Hippies!! WOO!!
I love them so much. And SO glad Ken and Barbie are finally gone. I don't think I would've been able to deal with barbie's whining/crying any longer.

I believe this is time for an:
Halelujia! Thank goodness MoJo is gone. I couldn't stand them. And the hippies were amazing eating all those bugs. That must have been so hard. I too, don't think I could eat that much of anything.
I'm hoping the hippies or Ray and Yolanda win the whole thing. Not Eric and Jeremy though, they think way too much about girls for me to like them.

Agreed. I'll be the happiest if the Hippies end up winning, but as long as its not Eric and Jeremy, the outcome is fine with me.

*nodnodnodnod* I <3 the hippies. So funny.

...but there's only one team left after that. :P

YAY HIPPIES!!

Thu May 18, 2006 2:20 am

I'm very pleased with the result. :) And like last season, it really was close between the top two, except this task was slightly less cheesier. Only slightly.

Man, the fratboys seemed like sore losers on the final mat. Well haha, back to waiting tables it is, after they use up all those prizes.

Either MoJo were showing fake happiness or they really forgave the hippies. Eh. But I'm glad the hippies won. I never liked Eric and Jeremy, and Ray and Yolanda made far too many mistakes to be good enough for the prize. I'd go so far as to say they were probably an hour behind.

Loved the tasks in Japan. Language must've really played a role, since the hippies fought back a 1.5 hour delay. The final tasks in the US, eh...a little bland. No choice of detour too.

Also a little lacking was the preview for next season! Where'd it go?
