I refreshed for 5 minutes and got nothing but someone on neoboards told me this and it worked.
Wow, amazing if that is true. Hard to believe dial-up users could solve this one then.

That's all I had to do. I clicked on the petpet, saw what picture it was, clicked the corresponding action once, waited until :00, clicked "check in," looked at the new picture, clicked on the cooresponding action...and after the tenth action, the Skeith showed up. Maybe some people do need to click check in to submit the action. I didn't need to. I wish you luck, and I hope I helped somewhat.

Thanks for the info. I am not sure if it is necessary, but I noticed the URL changed after I clicked my treatment *and* "Check in" (but not just after treatment only) so I just went ahead with that and got it on the first try. Many seem to report it is not necessary to "submit" your treatment within the same minute. I hope this is true, but if it is not (or there are browser issues) I suggest people do so just in case.
EDIT: Are people just having a bad case of "not being able to pay attention for 10 minutes straight" or what?

Hey, just to confirm though, does that mean after I do an option, like feed, then when the page loads, I immediately click on Check In? Because after you do an option it will immediately refresh, right? So after the refresh I immediately click Check In. After :00 I click Check In again and then do the appropriate action in regards to the picture.
Did I get that correct? Different sources give me different guides lol.
And it's so cool the URL helps remind you which try you're on lol.
Edit: Again, never mind, went ahead with my guess and got it right. xP Sorry!

Just in case, if you don't have an uber-slow computer or are on dial-up it is at least *safe* to click Check in after each treatment (within that same minute), since upon the next minute the petpet's pose will change anyway.
I noticed my URL change properly after checking in after each treatment, but many others claim it is not necessary, and this could indeed be so.
Do either at your own choosing, but it is certainly safe to Check in any time, so it seems. So long as you are paying attention for the next minute's treatment and doing everything within 10 consecutive minutes.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Here's what finally worked for me. (might have been a browser problem) Saw image, clicked action, clicked check in right after *and* at :59, saw new image, clicked actions, clicked check in right after *and* at :59. It seems I needed to click check in twice.
Serena, thanks. I did try(after action) to click check in only once at the :59, but I never tried action, then waiting to check in at :00. Maybe that would have worked, too. Ah well, I'm off to find the stars.

6. *Immediately* after selecting the appropriate action (within the same minute of the appropriate action for that pose), click to "Check in on the Vaeolus" (this submits the action).
7. At the top of the *next* minute, click to Check in on him again (this refreshes his pose). Perform the *next* appropriate treatment.
8. Repeat this for 10 consecutive minutes until the Vaeolus is healed and a Skeith presents you with an award which you click in the top left-hand corner of to reveal the overlay for the Gatherer's constellation.
Was what my friend told me to do
now After I click on the next treatment I'vbe tried sending the check button and waiting for the next minute to come nothings working.. if someone with well a brain can buzz me and give me a hand cuz somehow I am doing this wrong and my dyslexic mind is hurtin something fierce ifs only clickin I know but somehow I am doing this wrong as all glorified heck

Ok kids, I'm going to say what I did and try to make it as clear as possible. I picked a part of the minute (for me it was between :00 and :10, but do whatever you want as long as it's all in the same minute)I clicked check in, whatever action the pic told me to do, and then check in again. Three clicks pretty close together.
What took me the longest was that I didn't see that wait was an actual action, so I was just doing nothing. And I think mine actually took 11 minutes, but I figure I messed up the first minute and I needed 10 correct in a row.
