Have you also checked the SDB? I couldn't remember getting it, and it turned out to be there.

111, 112, 113, 121, 131, 122, 123, 132, 133
211, 212, 213, 221, 231, 222, 223, 232, 233
311, 312, 313, 321, 331, 322, 323, 332, 333

I resorted to just checking the cup after each click.

While it doesn't help us, it does seem likely that Defenders will have as a combatant the bad guy of this plot, although we don't know who that will be then. My money's on Mr. Yurble janitor. I think his bad attitude is a double bluff. n.n

Has everyone else noticed there are windows behind the Protector and the King, much like the one behind Sasha, the Dancer.. maybe we have to find a way to activate those windows? I have tried everything I can think of and came up with nothing.. so far..

My guess

Personally, I think the clue to the protector will be the italicizded words that have appeared throught the Archivists pages. I didnt write them down because I didnt notice them until too far into the plot, but some of the words are italicized and it doesnt seem to be for any reason, I think if maybe we put them all together, it will tell us something. Just my guess.

Cynthia wrote:Hey guys .. you say the club is a battledome weapon and that the other three SHOULD be in your SDB and that the telescope never shows up.

Anyone remember the E-Z telescope? I thought we put that thingamajig up at the Observatory. Or was that telescope from TNT? o.O OK I think I've forgotten.

Correct, the E-Z Telescope is what is in the Observatory so you can look at the star for the constellations. The other items are the Astrolabe, the Badge, and the Club. If you are all caught up and done everything right, it should be in your SDB (if you put it there). Make sure you are typing it right when searching for it or try something simple words like "club", "badge", "astro".... that way it should come up if you have it in your SDB.

If you don't have it, I'd go back to the Astronomy Club and refresh a bit to see if you have it back in your inventory. If not, maybe you recieved and didn't know it was taken by the Pant Devil or turned into a pile of sludge. Then there is the chance that you skipped over that part and therefore may never get it.

Might want to ask TNT about that. Just to make sure it isn't a critical part of the plot and a must to have. They do go out of their way to give everyone a fair chance so I doubt they'd make it mandatory to get those pieces. But there is the outside chance they messed up in the programming such as the times where they forget to make an item edible or can't equip an item. It happens.

Generally, the three items should be on the last page... or second last at most...

Maybe one of the guides that are floating around have the words written like they were? Or screenshots?

I doubt this is what needs to be done. TNT is all about fairness. There's no way they would've done such a thing because that means after the 2nd visit to the Archiver, if you didn't know from the very beginning (with no way to recall the past steps later on) that you were supposed to write them all down, then it would be pointless after the first step and all of TNT's time would be wasted because very few, if anybody at all, would do that.

I mean it is good that people are thinking of different things, don't get me wrong.... just pointing out that I don't see TNT doing that because its not fair and the only people that would benefit are people who are starting for the first time when its at the end of the plot. Get my point?

I'd say it is safe to rule out all of the italicized words as a clue for the last 2 constellations or anything else that happens after that in the plot.

Bah. I lost my Astronomy Club too. I guess we will find out together if we are out of luck plot-wise.

...and I was doing so well.

Sat May 06, 2006 9:52 am

Well hey waddaya know, my Astronomy Club has always been faithfully sitting in my SDB. Just went over to check, what's left is just the Astronomy Club Badge and the Shiny Astrolabe.

I'd say perhaps the TNT just took everybody's clubs. Or, without our knowledge, they have put us on "STATUS: ARMED WITH CLUB" lol. OK not funny.

really? *runs off to check* no, mine's there. it's under "battledome equipment" in case you were checking "special".

wow. i am SO glad i've been jealously hoarding my prizes...half the plotters have lost items. i feel your pain. no, wait, i don't; i still have my stuff.
<back_on_track>you should probably ask TNT via Neomail if the lack of club will make the plot unfinishable. just like that, if you're too specific they'll probably give *groan* a cryptic answer. </back_on_track>
ummm, BLUERP!

Yes, it's already been discussed that the buildings you can see through them are the houses of Altador and Jerdana.

newbie comment: there's also horoscopical houses, just thought I's mention

No plot coverage that I can find has preserved the italics of the Archivist... well actually there is. It took screenshots of the first two steps, but it's only for the first two steps and they don't contain italics. However, my cousin is a bit behind on the Altador plot and I've promised to do the more recent steps for her so when I do it I will keep care to watch out for Archivist/Yurble italics/boldness. May be a few days before I see my cousin though, and I don't have her password.

*adds* I'd post them in here for you guys to analyze but Scott might hurt me for stretching the forum.
