The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Katharine's performance of Somewhere Over The Rainbow was GREAT. Because of that, I don't think she's going.
Lol @ Taylor's spaztic dancing. Did you see him squeeze himself when he said "squeeze me?" Even though he may not have the best vocals, he is definitely the best performer.
I think Elliot is going. His songs were kind of boring and I don't think they would get him as many votes as the other two.

I was hoping that Elliott would go back when there were 10 people. I hated his rendition of Drops of Jupiter. The whole performance was off-key.

Errr..... I haven't critizized anyone who likes her.

Ace is the one that sang that.
Yeah, Elliot has to be going. Taylor has too many fans and Katherine, the only other person that had a danger of going, did well enough last night to keep her from going (although she screwed up a couple of times in "Somewhere Over the Rainbow") Heck, she's the only one that I will say actually did "well" last night for the final three. Elliot was himself, but he wasn't pushing the bar, on any of his songs, and I found Taylor's first song to be rather bland and "You Are So Beautiful" was very awkward at the beginning. A terrible start, but a pretty good finish. I missed Taylor's last song.

...oh.
...I feel stupid.
Wonder why I disliked Elliott though...

He is boring-ish? That seems to be the reason most people don't care for him. I personally like him, but I wouldn't want him to win AI just because he doesn't seem to be the type that will actually go out and raise the bar for himself. He has a good voice, but I think last week was the only week when he actually "shined".
I still go along with my first choices, though, either Chris or Katherine have to win, and since Chris is out, Katherine needs to win.

Right now, it's very good for Taylor. Because now they have more than one song, so Taylor can just sit down and sing a song, and dance the other(s). Katherine's not a bad preformer as well. It's just mostly Elliot who isn't taking this to his advantage.

Sorry, I overreacted. I took that as an offense because of that comment. I mean I've said mean things of them but I've never said anything about his fans.... If you get what I mean... Anyway, that aside, Elliot needs to go home, if he doesn't then it's rigged.

If Taylor wins than it's confirmation that the government has implanted chips into the brain of many citizens to get them to do their bidding... or there are more people in the south that watch AI. =P
Kidding of course, though I'm sure it has *some* influence.

Aw. I was hoping it would be an Elliott/Taylor finale, to make sure that American Idol sales crash and burn this year. =/

Oh, don't worry. Taylor still has a chance to win.

And THAT folks, is what scares the blue out of my smurf!

I would prefer it if Katherine won, but I wouldn't be -that- upset if Taylor won either. In fact, I liked the top 5 contestants this season.

The smurfs came up to my TV screen a few times and screamed to me that they were green. D: Amazing, but they talked to me... seriously.
Eh, to me, it doesn't matter who wins now. In fact, I can see Taylor winning quite easily. It's sad, but true. Like I've said many times before, he's an amazing performer, but a mediocre singer (most of the time, he does have his good nights every once in a while). He's more fitted to do something on stage than he is to be listened to by people on a CD without visuals of any kind. I know the show's based on view votes, but sometimes I feel that people are being misguided by flashy displays on stage instead of thinking of what they're actually going to be like when they become a musician. I don't know, I just don't think he'd make a very good album (unless he does something with his band that is in the bluegrass genre or something. He strikes me as that type of singer.)
Either way, Katherine is pretty much a shoe-in for a record deal (as are just about everyone in the top five methinks.)
I am surprised by the almost perfectly even split in the votes though. Elliot was out by barely a hair. (though I know a fraction of a percentage is a heck of a lot of votes)
