Last night I watched
Stealth. It was a pretty good movie.

Nice music that plane played. XD

Grandma's Boy - As a movie dealing premarily with video games, i thought it was rather clever (especially the DDR scene, loving it). of course, it was also very graphic and adult in content, so that's a downer in a way. all in good fun though...i think.

X-Men 3 i watched it last monday anxious to see what would be the x-men's next challenge.
it was a great movie, really entertaining and interesting. i had fun watching stan lee watering a lawn

and seeing the x-men kick a*s. although the movie didnt stay as faithful to the comics as i had hoped it would be, it was still a really good movie to watch.

AVP
A LOT better than I thought it was going to be. It actually had substance!

You mean Alien Versus Predetor? I don't know...i found it very lacking. Too slow and too much character development that isn't needed, as you know the humans are the fodder for the killing in the movie.

I just saw it too, and I thought it was very unique, wasn't like a typical comedy. The grandma was great, and I loved how creepy JP was. And the Lara Croft Doll, OMG. I didn't know whether to be horrified or pee my pants laughing!
Yes, very, very adult. Keep the kiddies away!

I finally watched Saving Private Ryan for once

So sad... but overall, it was super good. Except that scaredy cat guy shoud've been punished or something..

Brokeback Mountain: Saw it last week. I think it was good, but definitely overrated. The movie was pretty slow overall but I still liked it. Very touching and sad. Still, I'd recommend it, it can really open your eyes.
Cars: Um...it was great! I'm not writing a lot about it here because I just made a
thread about it. IT'S THE MUST-SEE MOVIE OF THE SUMMER!

The Ringer - It was an okay movie. I like the way they stuck to how the Special Olympics is like, without the sabatoge, at least. It could have been funnier, but I don't know if it was supposed to be a complete comedy or a real life look behind the scenes.
Date Movie - Eh. The opening scene was funny and the blonde guy was cute. Thats it.
Underworld 2: Evolution - I really liked it. I thought it was going to be just totally off plot, but it was good, even though some of the scenes [the exile] were un-needed and they could have done without some the over excessive gore.

I agree with you, the human character development was unnecessary. I was expecting a plotless slasher film in the first place, though, so....

omg...first time i heard of that scene was from my brother at a family gathering...was funny, but wasn't very...proper.

and i'm dissapointed, as it ruined the shock value when i finally saw it. was still funny to see of course, i just knew it was going to happen.
Tokyo Pop - Think Lost In Translation, but set in the 1980's and about music. You will get the exact same movie.

It's nice to see how the language has changed since then, and how movies have gotten better/worse (depending on how you view it).

The Phantom of the Opera.
It was alright. We're watching it in choir, but I hate watching movies in segments and I was liking it so I got it from the library to watch straight through. I didn't really like the second half as much as the first though. I'm not one for dark plots, so that might have something to do with it.
I love the music though. Especially phantom of the opera, think of me, and wishing you were somehow here again. I've still got them stuck in my head.
And the phantom really reminds me of Ulfin from the book the cup of the world. The thing with the dreams, and how I was never really sure if I liked them or not, even at the end.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
The movie is actually pretty good, except the whole Bridget sub-plot in the middle was incredibly sketchy and pretty much ruins the whole movie.

Date Movie - Completly gross and over stretched at times. i found myself laughing reguardless all the same. Even so, spending a bull minute on a certain gross situation can be a little insane. They could hve made them much shorter, but then the movie would have been too short. But it was short to begin with, so... *shrugs*
