2006/Y8 Altador World Cup (Split 8)

If Tyrannia doesn't pass, I don't know if I'll sign up for another team. I wouldn't support it like I supported Tyrannia, and I'm in the middle of my final exams, so I need all the time I can get.

Same with me and Terror Mountain. I might be persuaded to side with Roo Island (which appeals to me for reasons I don't entirely understand at this point, but probably relate to the bright colors), but I don't like the idea of completely abandoning my team just because I'm not able to play with them anymore. Where's the loyalty in that?

I'd probably switch over to Mystery Island, since my brother is supporting them. I wouldn't want to sit out the next rounds...

But I already know it wouldn't be the same thing as playing with Roo Island, even if I don't expect them to go further than round 2.

If roo gets out I doubt I'll join a different team. I'm leaving next sunday for 4-6 weeks, so it's not like I'd really be able to play at all. And I really should be focusing on studying for finals this week....

Another Roo Island supporter here (although I've only gotten 15 wins because my computer is slow and I can't stand playing for too long). I don't like this whole switching thing. I carefully chose my team and I got attached to it. If it gets kicked out, I probably will join another one just for the possibility of better prizes, but I won't like it. I was hoping we'd get some kind of badge in our userlookup for the team we chose, but I guess that won't work, as we're all going to end up on one of the two final teams.

I signed up with Mystery Island, but I don't think we'll beat Faerieland. There's got to be a ton of people playing on Faerieland. >.< I think the teams should have to play several other teams and then take the teams that won the most like some other sports competitions. Although the big teams would still most likely win, the smaller teams would at least get to play more. This lose one and you're out kind of sucks for people that picked the smaller teams.

In the unlikely event that Faerieland doesn't make the cut and we get the choice to choose a different team from the remaining, I think i'll take that opportunity. Plots and games like this are what make Neopets fun for me and I want to finish it out to the end and earn an awesome prize. Even if that means rooting for another team.

Well actully, I expect MI vs FL to be pretty close in numbers, at least among the more dedicated players. We (FL) will probably get loads of 11 year old girls (no offense to those at all, too cute), but we seem to rank pretty equally around here for example. I expect us to win, but I would've have counted MI among the stronger teams.

All in all, I expect Darigan to be supported most strongly. They're the single team with the most unique charisma and appeal, most other teams are competing with others in their appealing characteristics.

Have any of you thought about actually buying a Altador Cup logo apparel with your team? I might put an order in for a Brightvale with my lucky number on the back. No one would know what it was, so I wouldn't feel so foolish sporting something like that over a Neopet on the front. XD

Brightvale, easily, if support has anything to do with it. Kiko Lake has got to be the most obscure and overlookable team out there. And brightvale would appeal primarily to the more serious players.


And I like the faerieland shirt cause it's really cute, but I've got cute clothes a plenty and not enough cash to go buying stuff like that.

This might sound stupid, but is it possible to get to the Altador Cup main page through the colosseum? The url for the Cup page seems to be linked to it, but I can't find a spot to click that will take me there.
