She worries me sometimes, any mother that did that would worry me. I can understand not having a place to change the kid but I'd try to do it in some corner some where if it was extremely necessary. Trust me I've seen my nephew with runny poop that has gone through his clothes and down his legs and we never just plop him in the open and change him o-o. I'd be worried about some nasty pervert pedophile looking at my kiddos privates, call me paranoid but some sick people out there these days. I'm sure plenty of people have done the same thing and maybe Britney is getting all this attention because she's famous but geesh the woman has managed do do quite a bunch of stupid things in the short life span of her child's life and she's already getting a whole other bundle to make it even harder for her, tisk, tisk. I wouldn't call her the smartest woman around, but still not the dumbest, there are plenty of gals like her out there .

If that happened to me, id accept it, keep it and sell it on ebay... Probably make $1000 ...

Anyway, it is a bit over the top to make such a big column just for changing a baby... Though i have seen worse in magazines, like 'celebrities without makeup', where they showed a very-not-even-mildly-strange picture of an acress drinking coffee...

For the most part, I don't really see a problem with what she did. I would have advised trying to conceal it as much as possible, but if people can breast-feed in public, then I don't see why this is a problem.

On the flip side though, I think for HER OWN SAKE, she should have chosen a better place to do it, because, as Charisma mentioned, there are some sickos out there that may have been watching (media, while considered sickos too, are not included). The public can just ignore it (and it's their problem if they don't, save it's being done on a public table or bench, or area that is in constant contact with people and food), but as a parent, you should probably want to choose a better spot to do it so that you don't have any "unexpected guests".

So, yeah, I don't see why anyone cares about this, it happens all of the time. ._.

I suppose. You might think differently when you're in a park, and your baby starts whining because they want to bed fed. A private place isn't exactly possible.

It isn't like everyone would see your bits, it is possible to breastfeed without everyone staring at your chest.

What happens if the Mother does not want to feed her baby milk that isn't breast-milk? Or the baby won't suckle on a bottle? I know my sister wouldn't.

I do find the changing of the baby in that place inappropriate but it was done. What I don't think is very good is that she expected somebody to take it because of who she was.

Nobody's asking you to stare. To be honest you're pretty immature if you can't cope with someone breastfeeding while you're out and about. (BTW, if you're riding your bike you really should be concentrating on other things, road safety anyone??).
There's no excuse? it's called FEEDING A BABY. Lots of babies prefer to breastfeed, as do some mothers, and the health benefits are much publicised.

BACK ON TOPIC, I think it was inappropriate that Britney changed her baby's diaper on the floor but it's Britney, she probably thought what she was doing was right. And besides, a lot of people are bad with their kids, they just don't happen to be famous, so why should Britney's bad parenting skills be talked about everywhere?
