It worked for me!
I actually got the first one higher than useless and I have hardly even gottten to useless before.
Though the prize ain't nice.

I just tried it. Held the mouse button down for two minutes, got a score of 13 (prize was 299 NP). My scores are usually single digits...so I guess it worked

For everyone on the "hold it down" thing... I used to believe in it, but actually, the item is already in your inventory before you press the button. As soon as you press start, you can go see it.

I also tried the holding down thing and got a pretty good prize once, i guess maybe it is random.

I guess I've been lucky. I won a Halloween Paint Brush once and a Zomutt another time. Still holding out for that jackpot, though

I tried the holding it down thing, but then I started letting go at exactly :00 or :30 and got much better results. But once I scored really high (83? I think), and that time my finger had slipped off the button, so it was at a random time (~:17) and not for very long. So I really do think it's random. I won 13K and a spooky petpet (Intesteen).
