Mostly. According to their website, the children must have a life-threatening illness. It doesn't have to be terminal, though, so a number of the children do recover.

I use the word 'sick' to mean 'life-threatening' or at least pretty serious. otherwise I say 'ill'. But that's just me.

That is really, really sweet. I guess she went there for the day or whatever, that made me feel a little bit teary, it's just such a nice thing to do.

It's warm and fuzzy feeling that someone got to spend a day at NeoHQ and have a theme day of her chosing Make-a-Wish is awesome, they ask what the child really wants to do and do everything in their power to make it happen. I had a friend who got to throw out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers baseball game. Gogo muffin queen

If I get off my lazy butt once in a while I might get enough cash to purchase that adorable greencolored JubJub (forgot the color for a while x-x), but probably that's months or years away when they might fizz out. 
Yeah, Make-A-Wish isn't just for sick kids. M-A-W is more of for the terminally sick kids who don't seem to have any chance anymore and they'll grant your deepest wish and make it possible no matter what.
